Morenita Plus is the best and most authentic Mexican market on the Northshore in Slidell, Louisiana. It is exceptionally clean, very welcoming, and fully stocked. The store has a fantastic meat counter with fresh meats like al pastor, fajitas, and carne asada, featuring the best meat prices and seasoned meat. It also offers the freshest fruits and vegetables, including items you can't find anywhere else locally, like dragonfruit and exotic fruits. The market has a great selection of all things Hispanic and includes a kitchen and deli with extremely great, authentic Mexican food and tasty plate lunches. Customer service is amazing. It is described as the mini market Walmart for Hispanic and Latinos, a place where customers prefer to spend their hard-ear money. Many state they will do all their grocery shopping there weekly and never go to Walmart again.

I like the store very much. I shop there produce quite often. They have items you can't find anywhere else. To Patti Murphy could it be because her English is limited and you may be taking it as not friendly. Just smile and say hola or bueno dias

Best place on the Northshore in Slidell, LA to get fresh meats from AL Pastor to fajitas or Carne Asada. Fresh produce, all things Hispanic and they even have a hotline. Excellent Meat Counter
