Came here yesterday and Matt Leboeuf was quick to assist me and get me all of the information I needed. Not pushy, very honest, no games, and great service! I highly recommend asking for Matt LeBoeuf when you go to Legacy GMC.

Matt literally made the buying process such a breeze and was super easy to deal with. I spent a few weeks looking for a used vehicle and worked with many salesmen that did nothing but run me right out of the door with their rehearsed speeches and slimy attitudes. Matt was the complete opposite! He was very up front, transparent, and easy to work with. Will recommend to all my friends!

I’m not sure if they got rid of the majority of the old service crew or what but today was my first time back to the Slidell legacy dealership in about 6 months because I got tired of dealing with the old service staff and started going to Picayune instead even though I bought my last two vehicles from Legacy. But since I bought my very first car from them in 2021 today was the first time I can say I had a great experience. They even gave me a battery print out and a sheet that said everything they checked what was good and what may need future service I’ve never had anyone give me that previously and I want to say that my service advisor RJ Williams was the most helpful, pleasant, knowledgeable person I have had yet! They have definitely won my service back after today and I hope that whatever changes they made stick because i actually felt like a valued customer today and I haven’t felt that way here since buying my last car back in 2022. RJ Williams even went out of his way to give me his card and came and showed my cabin and engine filters when recommending they be changed which I have never had anyone do that before either. I didn’t feel like I was a nuisance or that I was being pushed off which I have felt in the past.

This was my second purchase from the crew at Legacy. Blake and Jonah were top notch. Both are extremely well versed with product knowledge. As a prior VP of Sales for 23 years, I would have killed for people that were as professional and dedicated as Blake and Jonah! Those guys are an asset to your organization and the GMC brand.

I wanted to make sure when I had time I would sit down and write this review. This experience of getting my motor replace, did not go well at all! People need to know if you are using your warranty to get any work done and you have to leave your car, do NOT allow them to put you in a rental through this company that they have their contract with because they are as awful as it possibly can get! After being told that my trunk was ready, by the time I got to the lot
to pick it up, it was still things that needed to be addressed, so I wasn't able to take it! I couldn't understand why there was a part broken off the front of the engine and also why all the levels of fluid were low, including the oil! But getting back to this rental company that they use, Auto Rental ETC on 293 E Houze Beach Blvd Slidell La. 70458, Now mind you, this was set up through the dealership, so they have your full identity. Also, they have your insurance information. They have all of your information that would be needed for these people to know exactly who you are! Can anybody explain to me why do they call you and harass you about who is driving their car? Who is in their car? Where are you going in their car? They even had the audacity to tell me about they only want a certain amount of miles on their car per day and they don't want you driving their "baby" as they said too far! Now, mind you, this is some man calling you trying to sound like a woman constantly calling your phone with aggravation as if they're not getting paid or as if there not going to get paid! It even gotten to the point of me telling this person that you don't have the right to question me in this manner, so he decided to so call get back at me and deactivate the car! Yes DEACTIVATE the car through the gps! Then told me when he called back that he was calling the police on me and also said that the amount that I was paying for the car after the warranty coverage is higher now! After getting interrogated more trying to make him understand I am not stealing anything. I'm in the car legally because it was given to me from the dealership. He decides to send all kinds of stuff to my phone to make me sign another contract for the car giving him the authorization to charge me six hundred eleven dollars, just to cut the car back on, even though it was enroute to get it back to the dealership! Then he gets mad, because I told him I'm not signing anything for me to take out an insurance policy through them when I already have full coverage insurance! After the car was stranded sitting at a gas station pump for hours. I called back and someone else answered the phone. And ask me what was going on? When I started to explain to them what was going on, they hurried and supposedly activated the car back at this point, the car had been sitting under this gas station pump for hours because of the shenanigans dealing with this company! If you are used to having your own transportation and being able to go to and from when and as you want, no one wants to be stranded, or stuck out anywhere! This was horrible! This was very uncalled for! I don't wish this on anyone, especially not in ninety sixty degree weather! I don't know about the next person but I am a heart patient with congestive heart failure and I don't have time for these games with a low life company like this! This could be detrimental to my life! I can't understand how a big dealership like Legacy would even use these people! It's horrible what they have done and because of this whole process, my spouse and I are still not speaking! I would have done better just renting my own car but why should I when I have a warranty that I paid for but I will never rent anything else from them again! Warranty or not! I would have never thought bringing my truck here would turn into all of this! I'm literally still in disbelief about this whole experience!

I've been building cars for many years and my Beautiful wife lifted me with a beautiful 2020 GMC SIERRA TRUCK 2 years ago. I hardly drive the truck only because I have other old school trucks that I enjoy driving more. She understands, but when my job take me far the new truck is my best bet. Ok the story: jumped in the new truck smelled oil after a trip. Stopped the truck smoke coming up around the truck. Told my wife about it she says I'll bring it to the dealership "Legacy GMC Slidell La. She was fond of this place because the service was nice and we traveled a long way to get to them. So of course, any of our vehicles are having problems She chose "Legacy ". Brought the truck to them they said "Rear main seal leak". Of course I found it strange a new truck with only 55.000 miles on it would be doing this. Ok, they hit my warranty company and of course my Deductible. Supposed the truck was fixed. She gets the truck back, I still smell oil, figured they didn't clean the bottom, even tho I asked ask to. Check the oil, didn't register on the stick. 2 quarts
Later smoking again. Bring it back to "Legacy GMC", my next report is my 2020 SIERRA needs a engine. I'm floored!!! The Diagnosis is excessive crank case pressure.... Ok they find a engine supposed from another dealership. Put the engine in, worst engine swap I've seen! Popped the hood,of course check the oil, to my surprise it was lil over a quart low!!! NEW ENGINE SWAP! FLUID LEVELS, ALMOST EMPTY, AND A BROKEN PIPE RIGHT IN FRONT of the engine THAT STEVIE WONDER COULD HAVE SEEN!!!!! Engine compartment " Filthy"!!! You would think that you're charging a engine you could have your detail department clean the engine bay!!!! "Legacy" GMC SLIDELL La has just lost a loyal customer. And I've even sent friends them. Needless to say I'll be letting them know what happened. Hello Legacy GMC family and friends. The is and edited version of my post. I was alot upset when you find out your brand new truck needs a engine! Yes things went "Heywire" for a minute, but please believe me, "These people are the best"!!!! The kind and wonderful staff truly took care of me. The manager of the lot came out, looked at the situation and told me not to worry! We are gonna take care of you and "THAT THEY DID"!!!! Jacob, Jacob thank you so much for the understanding and patience beyond patience!! I'm work in Georgia, the truck runs and perform beyond well. Straight to Georgia No problems!! Once again, Big Ups to the staff for all their hard work. I am and will be a"Loyal Customer"......

The personnel were very friendly and my service advisor was very pleasant to talk to. I had to put air in my tires when I got home. I had a tire rotation and that should have been good to go when I drove away. I was surprised to see the air in the tires was incorrect.

I continue to be disappointed in the Service Department at Legacy. I made an appointment for a check engine light on a Sunday for 8am on Thursday. Email confirmation and everything. Show up on Thursday to the scheduled service advisor not being there. Another one took care of me and said I would be called for an update.
Well I called at about 4pm because I had not heard anything and the service advisor wasn't even aware I had an appointment but were so backed up my truck hadn't been looked at. He said he would call me the next day, now Friday, with an update. I had to call at 12pm and still my vehicle was not looked at with no estimation of when it would be.
So I made an appointment for my truck to be looked at 30 hours after my appointment time....what's the purpose of appointments if that's the case?
The last 3 times I have made an appt for regularly scheduled maintenance, it still took the entire day for the work to be completed, and I was waiting in the waiting area!
Will not be using Legacy for service or vehicle purchases in the future. This is ridiculous.

Bought a brand new vehicle from y’all in December. I brought it in with some minor issues, staff was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Most important part communication and service. Great job team!!
