“Everything was great from beginning to end! My husband and I stopped by for one night on our way to the Smoky Mountains. Mary checked me in and was a delight. She was very personable and welcoming. She acknowledged my BW status which I greatly appreciated. The room was very clean and looked great. Despite an issue with the tub, the front desk found a quick resolution. Breakfast was delicious and had a variety of hot foods to choose from. I especially loved the egg omelets and French toast! Checkout was fine as well. The front desk agent provided me with my receipts and had us on our mary way in no time. Parking was ample and the property was located in a safe and quiet area with plenty of businesses nearby (places to eat, shop, etc.). I highly recommend this property if you’re ever in the area.”

“Great experience all around! My family and I only stayed one night because we are traveling home and splitting up the drive. We arrived late, around 1am and were exhausted. I checked in with Kim at the front desk. She new who I was when I walked in because they were expecting us to check in late. She had a welcome bag ready for me with water. I added a pet to our stay and she gave me the cutest little bag of milk bones for him. My daughter walked in shortly behind me and I explained we were waiting for my husband to park the car. She gave us two more bags for my daughter and husband. She had no idea that we really needed the water! Her welcome smile, warm personality is so appreciated. Especially when arriving so late. She really made me feel so taken care of. To top it off, even though they are doing renovations, the hotel was so clean, very nicely decorated and smells so new! Our room was very comfortable. Such a good experience and Kim really set the tone for the whole stay. She is wonderful!”

“The rooms were clean we only spent one night coming through from Oklahoma to Alabama. The mattress was okay it wasn't the greatest but it was a comfortable night sleep so I guess that's what counts plenty of pillows and cover was nice so they had fresh baked cookies last night for when you for the evening time. If if you like to watch TV they had all of the movie channels and Netflix and Hulu and all that kind of stuff

“My name is Nicole and I have been staying at motel 6 for over 10 years for work for my husband and we have been from VT mass NH Georgia and in-between and let me tell you we came to slidell for work and we're going to be most likely permanently stationed for his work here finally roots lol but anyways let me tell you I usually do an inward cringe someeetimes lol cause you never know what to expect I mean let's face it if yall are here looking at reviews cause yall have probably seen some crazy stuff also at a 6 but I'm as brutally honest person but I can't tell you this motel 6 is the best we have ever been at....

one of my biggest thing is roaches lol yes I know I'm in the south so I already know lol but man let me tell you guys I haven't seen not 1 and I mean not even in the pass ways where people walk and trash barrels like usually places u expect to see them none nope nada fantastic surprise number 1 number 2 their pool is clean and I mean clean. My husband was so happy cause we have seen 6s with pools that are not open no water and it's even a beautiful sitting area and chairs .... number 3 the room we are newer design no horrible burnt orange and the bathroom is very nice and then there's the staff they are awesome sauce when we first got here there was an issues with my motel 6 app and let me tell u I was exhausted had a few days from he'll but that's expected when you travel for so long but we first me Irene and she was fantastic fixed our issues immediately and professional then we met with Paula she is a pleasure and so easy to talk to and then oh poor Jacob I met that poor gentleman half asleep looking for coffee and I was a little early but coffee is my life and let me tell you he was a delight even though I'm most likely like a gator in the morning before coffee and he was able to put a smile on my face very polite and professional and then their is jewel and gm zeel and I honestly don't remember everyone's name as employees and who I've met more or just once but what I can tell you most likely any staff u meet at this 6 is going to be professional and respectful and lastly let's be honest noise and drugs we all are adults so like I said I will speak truthfully cause it do t ha e to be a 6 it could be any motel and families go there and let me tell you the noise is barley minium and that's coming on weekdays and a Friday night which is pay day dude nothing that we seen or heard no police ever hr lol let me tell you if their was a motel that I would bring my family to or referring friends or coworkers and their family members to come this is it it's the only motel 6 in slidell if your traveling to new orleans or anywhere in Louisiana idk if ur traveling an hr or 3 away from slidell ild make the drive... in two weeks payday we will be back until we find permanent housing for his job but for us to speak this trust me come here we have had the best sleep ever in this motel 6 than we ever have I don't even feel like I have to check my car every ten minutes.... great motel great staff great over all experience.......guys keep doing what your doing... I hope other 6s learn from you guys and don't get me wrong I wanna clarify I'm not saying every motel 6 we have stayed at was always bad we have had many experiences and that's why we stay with motel 6 but this motel 6 I can say with out hesitation is going to be the best ever motel 6 to be able to finally stop traveling for work and be calm to search and not be like oh my god it's to crazy here but this was a great way to be able to finally find a state to call home and feel comfortable and welcomed and not treated like some places do you just instantly feel welcomed and even the guests are friendly at least the ones I've interacted with and also a good site is families with children and riding their bikes I could go on and on.... but I guess I'm gon”

“Check in was a tad complicated but it got fixed. The room was clean and very nice. Thw one challenge was the hot water in the shower. It took about 8 minutes for the water to get warm enough to stand under. And the pressure was not the best.”
