Always a great time. I enjoy the things others no longer want. And often find my next project right here at goodwill. Such a friendly staff and things are always kept in order

I was passing through. Stopped and donated a few things here. The 2 gentlemen outside were very helpful. Smiling although it was hot. The items were being handled with care. Very organized. The store looked much better than other Goodwill locations I've seen in various states. Although I can't speak to pricing since I didn't purchase anything. Great job Slidell Goodwill Employees & Management Team! ????

I have been shopping at Goodwill, especially the one in Slidell, for over five years now. There are a number of issues that I feel are problematic, but I will only touch on the one that seems most egregious currently. I understand that prices inevitably go up because of inflation, but there is absolutely no reason why a plain T-shirt (fruit of the loom, Hanes, etc.) should be priced as a knit shirt at 5 dollars. This was not always the case, as it is only common sense that a T-shirt is a T-shirt. Now, apparently the only thing that qualifies as a T-shirt is something that has print on it. Why would you pay 5 dollars for a single T-shirt when you can buy a pack of them from Walmart for the same price? Please start categorizing plain white T-shirts as T-shirts.

Goodwill is a scam y'all!! I saw on the shelves a tiny kids plants pot, $1 from the originally store, and Goodwill price was $1.99 with not discount color. DO NOT DONATE TO THIS CORPORATION! THE EXECUTIVES ARE EARNING MILLIONS OF DOLLARS WHILE THE EMPLOYEES ARE GETTING A MINIMUM WAGE. GIVE YOUR DONATIONS TO YOUR LOCAL CHARITY, BUT NOT GOODWILL.

Why do I go to Slidell for the Goodwill? A friend sold his house and took many things there. Their collection is easy convenient and of course you’re always given a text receipt to fill out. Being very curious, I had to inspect the inside to see where all of our things go, and what they do with them. The store is very neat organized clean at the employees. Extremely helpful and friendly. Yes it is very affordable for those in need of less expensive items clothing bric-a-brac furniture. Believe the photographs on the Gause Blvd., Goodwill website.

This used to be a good store you’d find good stuff at good prices recently you hired a new assistant mgr. “Michelle” all the prices have skyrocketed anything good never hits the floor. The other day she came out with a handful of designer bags and handed them to a specific person to purchase (I’m assuming friend or family) which caused customers to get angry and cause a scene. She is keeping items for herself. Something needs to be done about her this is dishonest and actually theft.

Lower your prices if you want to move more merch. You get that garbage for free. My favorite is when you try to see the oui yogurt glass containers for MORE than it cost when it had the yogurt in it. You are literally next door to a Dollar Tree and I frequently find items from that store ($1.25) y'all trying to sell for $3. Y'all have lost the plot.

I wanted to give a sofa to the store. Nothing was wrong with the sofa but the employee working outside did not want to pick it up even though my husband was helping him to lift it. He told us he could not take it. It was obvious he was LAZY.

The store was very unorganized. It wasn't clean, there were merchandise everywhere. I couldn't find not 1 decent apparel. Sizes in the wrong place. There's no help on the floor if you needed some assistance. Worse Goodwell I've ever visited.

Always something new in stock. Good shopping for unusual items plus the standard.

I’ve shopped for the last time at this (or other) Goodwill stores. I’m not sure why these stores have raised their prices so much when they still get donations for FREE. Maybe it’s because they have tried to become a retail store with so much NEW merchandise. I go to “thrift stores” to shop for used and perhaps unusual items; and NOT to shop for cheaply made, new, overpriced merchandise that a dozen other nearby stores carry. The new junk has taken over the display areas that once held used and reasonably priced items. Seems like “Good Will” has lost its meaning. Now it’s spelled g-r-e-e-d.

I sat in front of the store for 15 minutes while employees ignored me. I beeped my horn and a woman who claimed to be the manager balled me out. She expected me to get my donations from. My Carr myself. She was extremely rude !
