We are a small animal veterinary hospital that cares for you and your pet’s health and well-being. Since 1976, we have been dedicated to helping you enjoy your pets by keeping them well and providing high quality medical care when they are not. In October 2015, Dr. Michelle McKenzie Poche took over ownership of our hospital. She brought in a new perspective, ultrasound and takes pride in utilizing fear-reducing practices to make your pet's visit as comfortable as possible. At GBVH, we consider all clients and their four-legged family members as members of our GBVH Famiy. Exciting news: Slidell native, Dr. Tori Retif joined the GBVH team in 2023. GBVH offers boarding in our spacious, indoor kennel and grooming services for dogs and cats.
