Visited the location for a simple balloon purchase. I looked through the balloons which were already filled, but did not care for them and proceeded to the check out to wait my turn. The cashier looks at me and nods her head, as if that were her way for addressing my needs. I said that I’d like balloon number 174. She immediately turns her head and says “nope!” I was taken aback. She explained there were prepared balloons in the cage. I told her I was aware of that, but didn’t care for them, however I proceeded to choose one. While ringing me up I asked if they were out if helium. She said “no, which ballon you wanted?” I told her the number (this time she actually looked at it) and said she didn’t have it to sell. Now that, I can understand. I didn’t like her attitude though and I told her to just check me out. She then looked at the next customer and asked her about or interaction. Her customer service was awful. She wasn’t wearing a name badge, but the name on my receipt is Rhonda.

This store saved my business!I had horrible experiences with most of the stores in my local area. Either they closed early (Chalmette store), didn't answer the phone, (which caused me to make SEVERAL trips to all of those stores), wasn't knowledgeable of the product I was looking for or refused to offer assistance. I contacted this store at 8:25 p.m. Ms. Rhonda answered the phone and went over and beyond to help assist me. She gave me directions to the store, checked for the product I was searching for, and ensured me that it was available at her store. I drove 28 miles which took me 35 minutes to arrive. She had my items at the counter ready for me to purchase. I will make this drive from now on!! I appreciate the service from this store as they made me feel like a valued customer.CUSTOMER SERVICE IS EVERYTHING!THE EMPLOYEES AT THIS STORE ROCK!IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE, SHOP AT THIS DOLLAR TREE.MS.
