Is this the only big department store in this locality? It doesn't even matter because they have everything. Needed a last minute suit for my hard-to-fit kid for a wedding, and we were able to find a fashionable outfit from top to toe with no problem. It was a little more than I wanted to pay, but I didn't have to drive around town looking for bits and pieces, so that made it worthwhile alone. The lady in the kids department was also the saleslady for the kids' shoes. She was the only employee at the time, but she was on top of it. I was surprised at how well she served each family and was so pleasant.

For all the men shopping and the ladies shopping for their guys, ask for Mr. Timothy. He had an amazing eye for finding just the right thing.

Very helpful sales associates. Many designer brands!! Plenty of parking.

The store is well kept and looks like a Dillard's should. Sales people are friendly. But the dress department is a joke nowadays. Dillard's used to be the go-to place for dresses for dances, weddings, galas, etc. Now there aren't many dresses in the juniors department at all and they are either skin-tight and outrageously long or skin-tight and hardly cover passed anyone's bottom. The women's dresses are mostly for tall older women, like "mother-of-the bride" dresses and there are only a handful of those. If you're not a skinny 16yr old or 55yr old mother-in-law to be? Good Luck finding anything flattering or age-appropriate. The website has a slew of dresses but that's extremely inconvenient when you need to try them on! And the website prices apparently frequently differ from the in-store prices with a policy of "we don't price match with the website". Bring. Back. The. Good. Dresses.

This location of Dillard’s is probably my least favorite to shop at. Constantly being accosted by employees who insist on helping me look for things, even after I tell them I don’t need help..…they don’t allow you the opportunity to shop and look around freely. I appreciate employees who offer to help IF NEEDED, but this place just takes that idea to another level. I would much rather drive to Metairie than stopping at this location or just opt to shop at TJ Maxx which offers the exact same items for less than half the price and much better customer service.

Horrible customer service. Older lady in watches section just standing there doesn't approach me to offer assistance and just gives me the look from a far like I'm not worthy of her coming over to assist me. Lady probably only has few good years left might be good idea to get her some training in humility and customer service. Maybe it's my fault for shopping at Dillard's lol....
