Capitol One Bank is NOT what they use to be! You have to go through this automated voice machine. No personal touch anymore. They do not speak clearly, are very rude and do NOT support or help other businesses in reference to checking accounts and checks. There are too many other banks out there that are willing to help businesses who would love to have your accounts. There is nothing good about Capitol One banking business, who does not help or support other businesses.

This bank has slowly become a shadow of its former self. The checkbooks they now offer include a register attached to it that is only 2 pages long; just enough to record the checks and that is it. I realize many people today no longer keep a hard copy of their financial records but I do. They also no longer offer onion skin copies for checkbooks. I tried to find an email address to contact them and conveniently no email address can be found. They want everything sent via snail mail. Forget calling them. Everything is automated to the nth degree. They closed all the banks near my home. The closest is in Mandeville. After many, many years with Capital One, we will be slowly moving all of our finances to another financial institution and closing our account. Good riddance.

On 1/4/21 at 9:20 am I got in the shortest lane at the drive up which had 5 cars in front of me. The lobby is closed so I had no other choice. I completed my deposit at 10:11am. In the past I had used the Lacombe branch which was closed, so now I have to drive to Slidell. This would not have been a problem if they had not closed branches in Slidell also. My last 4 visits were to the 2 banks in Slidell at Gause and Fremeaux and on all 4 occasions the lobby was closed. I don't what the problem is with all of the glass between customers and employees and the marks on the floor for distancing. If thousands of people can go through Wal Mart every day, why can't you walk into a bank?
