Does not have the summer reading program. Kids wasted time filling out the companies summer reading long and reading books from their summer reading list to be told they don't know what were talking about.

I need a new King James version of the Holy Bible. Every store I went to did not carry Bibles or the version I wanted. Finally, I found Books-A-Million, which had over 500 Bibles to choose from. I found a beautiful leather bound family, King James version Bible. I was expecting to pay over $100.00 for this book. I was very surprised that it was listed at $49.00 and bought it immediately.
I'm very happy with the choices and prices Books-A-Million offers. If anyone is looking for a special book at a great price, go to Books-A-Million.

Staff very friendly however the store is very humid so all pages are damaged in books. From a book collectors standpoint this is not ideal conditions for collectors series books.

Didnt go in for any particular reason, just wanted to see what was in. However once I was inside I started remembering some manga and YA I wanted to pick up. Both staff members I talked to were helpful and nice and walked me to the section I was for. I bought about 5 books and was checked out quickly and efficiently. This would have been Tuesday afternoon, between 12-3. Wish I remembered their names.

This is a cute little bookstore! It's a small location with a large selection, very neat and organized too. I got a couple cookbooks and a Tea Time magazine. The employee who checked us out was friendly. I wish I could've gotten a bag for my items but it wasn't a major inconvenience. I visited from out-of-state while on vacation and I'll consider coming here again the next time I'm in Slidell!
