Always great service and a piece of Slidell history when I visit. The staff welcomes everyone and has several young men making sure you find what you need quickly. The ladies up front greet you with a smile and always make you feel like family. This is my go to spot for home and business hardware needs.

WoooHoooo!!! Called in search of a 30-amp disconnect as required by the electrician \u0026 this place supplied just what we needed. It was a bit of a ride from NOLA to SLIDELL, but it was well worth the ride. The particular item was NO WHERE to be found in the area, but this Ace Hardware was there in a crunch. I found the staff to be very friendly, courteous, attentive \u0026 willing to assist. Before making the journey to Slidell, I made a phone call to see if the 30-amp disconnect breaker was there. The young man who answered the phone was quick to advise, they did indeed have the breaker, however , there was only one left. I asked him to hold it for me at the front desk because I was on the way. He did exactly as I asked and I was able to, yeah, you know it pull ‘a stick and move caper’… I picked up the breaker at the front desk, paid for it and I was out the door lickety-split in less than five minutes. No, really it was five minutes. I’m glad to have been acquainted with the store. The trip to Slidell was pleasant and it gave me an opportunity to get out of the office and get a breather. Glad to know this store is there. If I ever need them to come in again in a clutch, I’ll be there. Pricing was fair. Offstreet parking is the call for the day.

Love this Ace. They have what the big box stores don't an awesome staff with answers that will help you find what you need. I spend less when they help me get it right the first time and no return trips or returns.

Slidell’s best hardware store. They have Big Green Egg, gardening, paint,lumber and every nut \u0026 bolt you can imagine. They always have a number of employees working in the middle aisle that can help you find the tool or part you are looking for. I suggest that you give them a try to support a locally owned business that provides service that you want from a hardware store.

Nice store, clean and neat with LOTS of nuts and bolts, including the weird ones I needed. Friendly service people, too!

They really ARE the helpful hardware folks! My Mom is almost 80 years old. Instead of pointing to the aisles where her products are located, they walked with her to find her selections. They they brought her purchase out and loaded it into her trunk. Helpful Indeed, with excellent value pricing!

I go here about once a week, sometimes 3 times in a day because all good projects done perfectly require an idiot homeowner to go the hardware store 2 extra times to get what he forget the first time. This has been the go to spot for me for the last 12 years, and I'm kinda embarrassed that I've never written a review. So, here's my review - Larry and his crew are practically perfect in every way. There's always someone to help you, and I'm the world's worst homeowner, so I need help. Keep up the good work!
