I've been bringing my pets to Acadian for nearly 20 years for a reason. Not only are they very knowledgeable but they truly care about their patients. If they continue to treat, I'll continue to come.

Dr. Rist was excellent with my son's pet cat. The staff were all friendly, and the price charged was very reasonable.

My GSP Violet won’t see anyone else but Dr Michelle at Acadian. Violet can be on the hyper side but the staff here always have patience with her “crazy”

Enjoyed bringing my pet to this location! The doctor was super friendly and answered any and all questions we had. My dog’s skin cleared up in two days!! Very affordable which was a plus for us.

This was my first time here with my dog. Dr. Wayne was very thorough. Answered all of my many questions. Even suggested alternative medication for heartworm prevention which will save me some money. Very happy with the care provided. ?

I can't recommend Dr. Michelle and her staff enough! I went in to get my dogs (who had never been seen there before) flea medicine and I was told I couldn't get it because they had never been there. Dr. Michelle saw me leaving, and must've noticed I needed help. She offered to see my 2 dogs last minute, 5pm, at closing time in order for me to get the flea medicine. She ended up doing a full (thorough) exam, with updated shots, on both, catching and diagnosing some issues as well. It was an all around very welcoming and pleasant experience. My german shepherd can be a handful and they were wonderful with him. Dr. MIchelle and staff are now our new chosen Vet! Prices are very proper and reasonable as well.

They've always shown so much love to my three dogs. I personally love Dr. Lori. But all the vets & staff here are great and sweet! I highly recommend!

Best vet by far! Very thorough. Kind, patient, answered my 1000 questions. Treated my fur baby like a baby, because she is. Actually helped solve problems, not just write scripts. Highly recommend ?

I can not speak highly enough of Dr Faciane. I was visiting family when my dog had an emergency related to a rare, ongoing medical issue. I have been dealing with this issue for several years now without any straight answers. Dr Faciane saw me within an hour of my call for help and was the first vet I've seen who actually knew about my dog's condition. She had a plan to deal with our acute emergency and formulated a plan for long term care, even though we weren't regular patients. If you're lucky enough to live in slidell, you have a gem in acadian vet and Dr Faciane.

I have been going here almost a year now after being recommended here, i've been to two other vets in slidell, and i did not feel like they had my dogs BEST interest, this place however i feel like they genuinely care about my dog and they have room in their hearts to love all their other patients. they understand if i'm having money issues and will help me do what is best for my dog, my dog had heart issues and was prescribed so many other medications from my old vet and then when i went to a second vet they told me to get him off of them and then to pay for a $500 heart test, since going here his heart has gotten so much better! they did not try to to take advantage of me because i was obviously distressed over my dog. he is here frequently because of my dogs skin issues and they are so patient answering the million and one questions i have about each and every little thing. they understand that your pets are your babies, not just "some animal" or not an opportunity to take advantage of caring pet owners. i love and appreciate every single person that works here and ESPECIALLY their doctors. i never liked the doctors at most the vets i've been to. if you're looking for a new vet, go here and tell them all of your concerns, they will care! even if you can't afford treatment they will see what they can do, see if there's time to wait until you get paid or not, etc. every expensive medication i've gotten here has worked within days ! i can go on and on about this place.
