Worst poboy ever. No shrimp. Fries are raw had to put them in the oven. The lacking shrimp had zero taste. They claimed not to have fish for the poboy I really wanted. The hot bar looks disgusting. It's obviously been there for hours.

Yummy fried food including hands down the best crawfish pies that have buttery tender crust stuffed with delicious crawfish ettouffee and everything else from jalapeño poppers, chicken tenders and fish in addition to plate lunches and to order salads and Po boys. Jett's has become my " to go" food destination during quarantine. Staff are friendly and they also have great iced tea!

Jett's is in fact the only place in Slaughter to serve hot food. It's the only gas station as well. Thus making this the busiest place in Slaughter at any given time. The gas is consistently much higher in price than anywhere around, but it is nice to have a gas station around. The hot food isn't anything fantastic. They have personal pizzas, corndogs, fried fish, fried okra etc. Where they stand out is in their cleanliness, and they selection of blue bell ice cream. They also have a nice area with tables inside where you can eat your food if you would like.

This convenience store is always clean and friendly. It is my go to for quick meals and fuel. Their "breakfast in a cup" is to die for!!! Jett's is top notch.

Jett's food mart and gas station is the only gas station within Slaughter city limits. Being only 1 of 2 establishment to serve food, and the sole establishment within city limits to serve HOT food, they receive quite a bit of foot traffic. Jett's is where I'll go not for gas, because it seems to be about an average of 20 cents more per gallon of gas, but, I do enjoy stopping in for a pint of Bluebell ice cream or some hot seasoned green beans. The building is fairly well lit inside and out which makes me feel more welcome. They seem to rotate through staff pretty frequently, but all of the workers I have come into contact with always come across as polite.
