Not sure what all the negative reviews are about for this location. My insurance quit working with CVS' pharmacy a few years ago, so I switched my family to this location. I mainly only use the pharmacy, but they're absolutely wonderful! Rx's are always ready on time or early. Any time I've ever had a question about a new medication, the pharmacist is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Also great about tracking down hard to find medications so I can get them filled here. And unlike CVS, they actually answer the phone quickly if you have to call. Highly recommend this gem of a pharmacy!

Every walgreens was giving me a hard time obtaining my s/o medicine due to them being hardly available anywhere or at any walgreens but when I finally talked to Jae he solved everything in a snap and gave us a option that helped tremendously where I can get his medicine the next day no issues Jae doesn’t know how much we truly appreciate him for this we deserve people like Jae in all Pharmacies!

Turned in 2 scrips, filled and I paid. Started out door and only 1 in bag. Waiting for the second one now. I only live 1.5 hours away. Been here 1 hour and I guess it will be 1 more. Incompetent help.

My kids and I were shopping and I allowed them to look by themselves as long as they were respectful. An employee followed them through the store to me and told me that they were knocking things off of shelves. I asked both children and they both vehemently denied these accusations. I asked her to show me and she said it was already taken care of. I asked to see the camera footage for proof and she said no. So with my 11year old crying with tears running down her face over being wrongly accused, I put back my purchase and will never be returning. I've been a patron of this store for over a decade and never been treated with such disrespect. Apparently management likes to follow little kids around the store and accuse them when they see things out of place. My daughter who is 11 said she never even saw this woman so she obviously saw kids and assumed that they were the reason for anything being misplaced. Walgreens needs better training for their management team because this is an unacceptable way to treat customers.

Friendly staff. I go in there everyday but there’s this one lady that works up there who has an attitude everytime she sees me almost as ugly as her. Refuses to let me use the bathroom, she’s disrespectful. That woman needs to be FIRED. Doesn’t need to be around Byrd highschool. Not my fault you’re grown and work at Walgreens, lose the attitude

Furthermore reviewing from the last review I did, she’s African American with a head wrap and ridiculously long lashes. She looks 30. She has the stankiest attitude I’ve ever said and stares at me in disgust the whole time in there. Mad disrespectful and won’t let me use the restroom, even though it’s a PUBLIC place. She reflects her insecurities onto other people and consistently has a bad attitude. Wouldn’t recommend. Avoid this lady?. Shoutout to Kalen though he’s awesome.

I’ve been sitting the call queue for over 35 minutes now. I started calling at 6:07 at this rate they will close for the day before I get answered. I’ve been 2nd in line since i firsts called too.

Ms. Tatum the Caucasian lady that’s a manager there tonight was truly rude racist not customer friendly and it’s an embarrassment for Walgreens. If it wasn’t for Kalen the African American male cashier to try and diffuse the situation I don’t know what I would have done. He was so apologetic for the manager actions and he was very disappointed. First off I watched how she treated these 2 homeless people and they were highly offended and that’s why they asked her for her name and I watched how she turned up her nose and rolled her eyes at them when they walked off. That was very discriminating for her to do that. It was so disgusting to see a manager do that. Secondly I’m a school teacher here In shreveport and you all have a clearance on school supplies and I was trying to buy them to help my students out. The system went down and I can understand that. So I had a conversation with both employees mind you other customers were in line as well. I simply asked could they hold the buggy with my items until tomorrow with my name on it since y’all had technical difficulties. She was so rude and said no when I know it can be done because my sister is a manager at another Walgreens. Tatum walked off in the middle of my conversation no empathy no concern no compassion and Kalen had to step in and assure me he would do it. Tatum obviously doesn’t want to communicate effectively to other employees and just simply let them know by leaving a note regardless if she wasn’t working the next morning. I’m just highly concerned about this experience.

I tried to get my prescriptions filled and delivered for 4 days that deliver through doordash everyday it was a different excuse why they couldn't deliver my prescriptions on the final day which is a Sunday they kept hanging up on me and then they wouldn't even take my call I'll never use this place again service is pathetic!!

On Monday, July 3rd, we stopped in to pick up an online photo order and to grab a few other items. During our visit, we encountered Kalen, the sales clerk on duty. As soon as we stepped into the store, Kalen greeted us warmly and assisted us with our photo pickup, a frame selection and also helped us to locate other items. Kalen’s demeanor and attitude demonstrated his desire to serve and assist. Kalen delivered with a spirit of excellence!! Great customer experience!
