March 2024 by Thomas Cupp
Black woman with bleach blonde hair and glasses on March 26th (8:50 am) was very rude with two customers in line before me. When I got to window to track a package I left the day before she told me to come back in a few days. The package was a two day delivery that they could not track for some reason…This person is too rude to be working with the public!

I cringe whenever I order something and the package is delivered by USPS. I was supposed to receive a Priority Mail package yesterday, and I had opted to have text notifications sent to me regarding the shipping status of the package. I received a notification yesterday that the package had been delivered in/at the mailbox at 6:19 p.m. I live in an apartment complex, and I walked down to the mailbox around 20 or 25 minutes after I received the notification, only to find that the package was not in or around the mailbox, nor was it at my door. I went to the website to fill out a form to search for the package and then sent a message on the USPS Facebook page, and received a reply that an email was sent to the station manager regarding the package. This is not the first time I've had issues with packages being delivered to me via USPS; packages are frequently delayed or lost altogether, requiring me to jump through hoops to receive refunds for the merchandise I ordered. The days of the USPS being able to reliably and accurately deliver mail and packages on a daily basis are long gone, and those of us that still depend on the USPS for delivery of the mail and packages are treated like the post office is doing us some kind of huge favor for delivering to us at all.

God awful at delivering packages to my door. Every Amazon purchase I have made, they have never delivered to my door nor have they left me a pink slip. This has happened over 10 times and I don't have anymore patience for this.

I use the Southfield branch. No matter what anyone says rain, sleet and snow the employees and services are still timely, necessary, and needed! Early mid mornings and afternoon are a good time to mail packages if you are pressed for time

This place is an absolute joke. Submitting a change of address form is like performing differential calculus or brain surgery for them. When going in and trying to sort stuff out, they act like they’re bothered and give the run around; to such an extent that they won’t even look something up in the computer, or put their cell phones down to work with you. I guess this is what happens when you pay lazy people good money who don’t care, only to back them with a union. There’s no accountably there and it shows. Screw ups on their part suddenly become your problem, and you’re left to your own doings to try and fix it. Not even worthy of one star.

The clerks have been very responsive and friendly. I just wish they would have more clerks at lunch time.

I’m assuming that our mail carrier delivers mail from this location we live on archer Avenue. We have a different mail carrier daily… receive our neighbors mail, and they receive ours. We evenReceive mail from other streets! Today it is raining and our carrier left the door open to our mailbox and when I went out to get the mail, it was wet. Most of the time we can hear when our mail carrier is coming from a couple of houses down because they are talking on their cell phone so loudly.! I just wish that people took more pride in their jobs like they used to

The incompetence of the workers in this office is astounding. Would never return here even for seemingly simple tasks like prelabeled returns.

After scheduling a hold mail three different times in the last two months, I have had mail delivered in the middle of each hold. This last time I am waiting for my mail to be delivered 5 days after the hold mail expired. I’m so done! This has caused us to not receive bills, important letters and even college acceptance letters. Oh and did I mention they deliver things that are supposed to be signed for without getting signatures?!?

This review is simply based on the fact that this post office location has drive up mailboxes for dropping off mail after hours; or when you're looking too ugly to get out of your car. : D

I wish you could leave a zero rating. This post office is full of people that give the post office a bad name. Horrible customer service. Rude. Not there to help provide solutions as much as they are just being part of the problem. Mail is supposed to be easy and pain free. I dread going to this post office simply because of the rude staff. If you hate your job so much then just quit

If I could rate zero I would. Not only are the people in the office RUDE. Have to wait forever on the phone to even try to talk to someone I'd rather talk to someone have have this voice tell me "sorry I didn't hear you, did you say" a thousand times. They " attempted delivery" which did not happen at all I was awake and outside when this "attempt" happened. This post office is honestly trash and I really wish I didn't have to get this package through them. They said next business day, it's Monday and I got packages yesterday. This is ridiculous, can't reach anyone in the office. I'm not driving to the office every time I need something.

I don’t normally do reviews like this but something has to be said!! Never had an issue until the pandemic. I understand they were (and probably still) short staffed and stressed. Fine. I understand that all the way! So I never made a big deal about packages not being delivered on time or missing. But lately, it has gotten so bad that I have to file a claim every single delivery. It’s either been “delivered” and there’s so sign of the package or they said that it’s undeliverable due not having access to my apartment…there’s no gate and it’s open. I’m sick of being excited for my package just to find out it’s not there. And I have a feeling who is not doing their job. I wish I could tell Amazon not to use USPS. It’s time for me to get a P.O. Box… and USPS is wondering why they almost went out of business.

Had to file a police report against our mail lady in south Broadmoor because she came screaming and cussing up my driveway about a “mfing dog” and calling me a “stupid a**” IN FRONT IF MY CHILDREN about a stray dog that wasn’t even mine. My kids were freaked out and got scared when this lady came tearing up our driveway screaming throwing freaking hands, and then she got embarrassed and started skipping my house completely when delivering my mail! Not leaving it at the post office, just it straight up disappearing. Probably throwing it away, because they have no record if it still being at the post office. Isn’t this a federal offense? DO BETTER SHREVEPORT. Get your ratchet a**es working somewhere else, not for the citizens. Now I can’t get ahold of anyone at the post office to even talk to them to put a hold on my mail so no more gets “lost”.

Absolutely the worst USPS ever. They don’t deliver packages to the apartments anymore and just say mail box full. Such a big hassle for those who work daily because they want you to pick up the items. Staff are rude and don’t even grab all your packages when you go to the location. But they throw an attitude when you ask them to look for the other missing packages. Such a waste of time, needs to be reported to the post master general.
