I was very impressed by the quality of care we received at our appointment. Dr. Mouser was very knowledgeable and engaging. She created a welcoming environment for my dog and provided us with exceptional care. I appreciated her attention to detail throughout the appointment. I didn’t feel rushed or dismissed when asking questions. I am excited to have found a vet that loves my dogs as if there were her own. I couldn’t recommend Dr. Mouser enough!

Everyone knows what they are doing and are very friendly. They’re happy to see us, they are very accommodating, and makes me feel as if I am apart of the process in the betterment of our dog TinTin. In all my years, I have never come across a veterinarian service so accomplished. Thank you.

Dr. Shelby was so nice and knowledgeable with my cat. As a first timer with my cat, she recognized me from bringing in a stray before to be checked out and was very friendly. She was able to check out my cat and even found something worth checking further into that I’m grateful to her for spotting. Thank you Dr. Shelby and staff! You’re great!

The interaction with all of the staff was top notch. The entire process ran like a well-oiled machine and made the experience not as upsetting as it could have been with a sick pet involved. We will definitely be back!

Made the trip to UVH to have nails clipped and a bath. When I got him home I realized they did not clip the nails. Such a simple thing to screw up that cost me time and money to fix. Seriously thinking of using a different vet!!

This place is terrific! Dr Pierce is a great doctor…caring, knowledgeable, communicates well, and really listens! The entire staff is friendly and helpful. A little pricey but worth every penny for the excellent specialized vision care.

Not pet related, however the staff here are unbelievably kind and helpful. I experienced car trouble and pulled into their lot to change my tire. The staff saw me from inside and brought me water bottles outside offering any kind of assistance they could. They were very understanding and sincere in their approach. One of the veterinarians even assisted me with my car troubles. Genuinely helpful and kind people at this establishment.

Dr Pollock was amazing with our nervous dog today. She took her time during the exam and explained everything very well and was super patient with Roscoe. Also the price for the visit and meds were very reasonable. We will definitely be returning for all our pet needs.
Edited review: We had our second visit today and ended up with Dr Mouser and had a great experience. She was every bit as patient as the first vet and explained everything just as well. I cannot sing the praises of this office enough.

University Veterinary Hospital was easy to find and had good parking. The staff were so friendly, and greeted us by name at the door. We checked in without any issues and had a brief, but comfortable, wait in the waiting area. Someone came to gather a few additional details and to collect my pet to take him to be seen. The examination took about a half hour, give or take. The doctor came back to review his findings and was friendly, compassionate, and knowledgeable. He took his time to listen to my feedback and concerns and addressed everything with care. He never once made me feel rushed. I felt that my pet was in very capable and very gentle hands. This is very important to me as my pet is in his senior years and needs more personalized care. Everything about our experience was exceptional. I didn't know what to expect, but I was pleasantly surprised with how detail oriented and well-executed everything was at this facility.

University Veterinary Hospital was AMAZING! This was our first time visiting UVH, and Dr. Shelby and her team made me and my 8 week old kitten feel perfectly safe and taken care of. She was enthusiastic to work with us and explained each step of the appointment as she went. I highly recommend you visiting UVH!

Amazing facility and staff! Dr. Shelby was aggressive in finding out what was happening in my yorkie. The diagnostics, exam, and treatment, without doubt, saved her life from fluid overload due to CHF. We are thankful and grateful for Dr. Shelby's determination to get an accurate diagnosis. This facility is top notch!

On April 3, 2024 I brought my baby Chester up there when he was very sick. The doctor was kind and gentle. He gave me some medicine to keep him comfortable, and on our way we went. I came back April 12 and I met with Dr. Durov. He explained to me that the kindest thing I could do for Chester was to let him go. I made the decision to help him cross the Rainbow Bridge that day and I would not have asked for a more caring and gentle vet. Dr. Durov is an amazing, kind man. Fast forward to June 5, I brought my other baby, Cooper in. Since losing Chester I’m so paranoid of losing Cooper, too. So I knew I HAD to take him to the vet, even if it was for peace of mind. Dr. Erin and her tech (I cannot remember her name) were so amazing. They loved on Cooper like he was their own. They were so kind and walked me through every single detail about why Cooper was sick and what medicine they were giving him and all that. I love UVH with all my heart for how the treated Chester, and now my baby Cooper. I will literally never go anywhere else.

UVH is the best vet practice around. They are expensive, don’t get me wrong- but they are worth it. I brought my cat there in an emergency for pyrometra. They kept me in the loop every step of the way and reassured me. I had to bring my dog in for pancreatitis. They said her numbers were the worst they had ever seen. They were hopeful. And they saved my little chunks life. And the whole time my dog and cat were in their own little vet spa.
And then today, my sister found a box of kittens. Both very bad off. UVH let us bring them there and took care of them. One had to be euthanized. And the other wasn’t looking great, but had a chance. A vet tech volunteered to take it if it made it through the parasite treatment.
UVH vets, their techs, and facility is amazing.
