Have never had to wait so long at a Vetco before. We were waiting for almost an hour past our scheduled appointment time. The techs and assisting staff were perfectly friendly, though no one was apologetic for the long wait. The veterinarian working that day was not friendly at all, however.

My coworker and I just went to Petco to see a precious little black kitten named Little Beans with serious consideration of adopting her. We asked the cashier if we could please see the kitten to see how she responded to us. We waited in the cat room for a minute and Amanda came in. She was obviously irritated and asked what we needed. We asked to get the kitten out so we can engage with her for a moment. Amanda rudely asked if we put in an application and been approved. We said no and that we just wanted to see how the kitten engaged with us and how she looked before paying the fees and such. She said with even more irritation that she wouldn't open up the cage without an approved application. So we left! No wonder these poor animals sit in these places for as long as they do! Amanda needs to take some customer service training and I pray she isn't a manager. I can't imagine how she would treat her employees...

Their in-store service is quite impressive. The cat department is wayyyyy smaller but great deals. Sign up for their rewards program and download the app to get even more. Next to Cicis down from Kroger's. Close at 8p except Sundays.

I went to get my puppy some food. We get the 30lb bag. Normally my husband is with me or gets it but I was alone today. I went in to get the food and asked for assistance because at this moment I am not supposed to lift anything over 10pounds. I was assisted quickly by a kind woman who brought the bag of food to the register and then offered to carry it out to my car and put it in the trunk for me. She was such a tremendous help! She did not treat me like I was a bother or inconvenience. I am grateful for her act of kindness and the service she presented me with. Thank you.

I came here with my Pomeranian poodle to get some affordable vaccines and to my dismay, staff was not very helpful and appeared to be in a rush. I would like to stress that specifically the doctor was rushing when conducting the vaccine. She then abruptly yelled at her staff in from of her clients and this really caused my poodle to be uneasy throughout the whole process. This doctor was unprofessional, rude, and caused our experience to be disappointing.

They Takes great care of our Bella, she loves going there. Her tail be wagging as soon as we pull in Parking lot. Great family oriented people and very knowledgeable when it comes to well-being of Pets.

Would not recommend going to this place ever! Especially if you are not a “regularâ€. One of the young female Employees that work there is a liar and neglects animals.....basically just A waste of space! If you love your pet DO NOT take them here! The staff, management and store is just horrible!

The employees at this time are obviously not pet people...not really even people people. There is one young lady that is wonderful who has worked there a long time...she is now in the grooming dept. so I dont have much contact with her anymore. She was always a delight and seemed genuinely happy to see me and my dogs. My experiences have changed when I shop there. I have been a loyal customer for 9 years. When you check out...spending your hard earned money...that is the last thing you remember. Remind your employees who are at the register about this.

The grooming people were a bit stiff on rules. While I liked that our dogs acted like they were kids in Toys R Us, the things here are a bit marked up compared to other places. A nice, big store though.

I have been taking my female Boxer, Lady, to be groomed at Petco for a year or so. All the groomers that have groomed Lady are excellent! I've never had any problems or issues with them. They are attentive and caring. I'm very impressed that they check Lady for any issues like dry skin, her teeth, ears, nails, and more. She loves going to be groomed. Thank y'all...

Altering my earlier review. Terrible customer service! Had the cashier call twice for help with fish, no one ever showed up. Not the first time I've had trouble finding an employee to help with purchases. You walk through the store and there's not an employee in sight - they're either seriously understaffed, or the employees just hide so they don't have to do customer service.

Twice now we have gone and purchased items only to get home and find out we weren't charged correctly. The first incident was the store had a promotional poster as tall as a person advertising a free pound of dog treats with the purchase of Taste if the Wild dog food. Not only was it on a 5 foot tall poster but also advertised on both sides of the treat bar. When we checked out we were told that promotion had ended even tho it was still being advertised.
