One of my most favorite plant farms here in Shreveport! Healthy strong veggies, excellent variety of tomatoes, wonderful selection of fresh living herbs, and gorgeous, lush flowers and roses, foliage too - like shrubs, trees, and beautiful rose bushes!
The employees are friendly and knowledgeable. Get all your plants here! You won't be disappointed!

Purchased a tree + delivery/planting services and was assured that the 811 “Call before you dig” service would be scheduled. I was told a few days later that Lex didn’t schedule it and they would plant it anyways. Knowing this wasn’t the right answer, I should’ve told them to hold off… I went ahead and scheduled the 811 service myself but they didn’t get there until after they planted the tree. The guys from Lex cut into a cable in my yard and the rep I talked to on the phone was unapologetic and said “9 times out of 10 we don’t hit anything” like it was no big deal. What if that had been the main electrical line? Check out the photo and see how close they were to hitting it…! Thankfully the line they did cut was not in service anymore. Please follow through next time when you tell a customer you’ll do something. This could have turned out dangerously for those digging and very inconvenient for me and my neighbors. Don’t be careless. This company has a great selection of plants and I’ve dealt with some very nice people there so I hate leaving a bad review, but without this, the same mistake will happen again.

Weather inspired me to start planting. I know it's early, but Lex's grows so many of their own vegetable and herb plants from seed, so checked it out. So many peppers and tomatoes! Got a few and will be back. Everyone is so nice and helpful and their plants are healthy and beautiful.

Miss K. Jones provided excellent customer service! She is professional, knowledgeable, and sweet. Go check her out. The nursery is beautiful, and the water element has a calming effect. I hope to see you there!

There is nothing more enjoyable than experts doing their thing, but very often expertise ends up meaning a gloss of grandiosity - examples are: art speak, chit chat about chefs and their 'food journey', movies that are all sequels, theatre performances where the texture of the seat in front of you is more interesting than any of the overheated dialog in the program. Charles and Danny are experts who bring their two wildly varying life experiences to inform the way they talk about plants (like dancing about architecture, only it WORKS) in the most exhilarating, elucidating and exciting way. I'd like to have some kind of badge or sticker to wear so other people who feel as passionately as I do about just how impressive their combined knowledge is and how very entertaining they make this plant farm would understand that they should talk to me IMMEDIATELY about how brilliant it is. It's like a potted plant history of the world - polite and filthy, polished and raw, social life, pure delight, full-sun, delusion, hope, the wistful ennui wrought by time, frankincense and fertilizer, chemicals, storytelling, flowers, food, childhood memories, history, the future, and magical talent. A cat-lovers paradise, sprawling, complicated, rewarding, beautifully clever and honest plants--seriously I couldn't recommend it more highly. Loved every blooming thing.

Great plant selection, decent prices, and the cutest little 4 pawed helper you ever did see! My husband got to pet the kitty cat while I shopped around so it was awesome as usual! We found this place last time we visited and made sure to stop by again! Enjoy the great selection, the kitty cat helper, the kind staff, the view of the horses grassing, and the unique planters!

Plant heaven for anyone who appreciates a variety of beautiful plants, trees and garden extras. Dan is customer service oriented and was a tremendous help with plant knowledge.

Really enjoyed the experience there everyone was very helpful and we purchased some plants we had not found in West Monroe or lowes in Ruston also everything was labeled so you knew what you where getting even if it had no blooms. But my favorite part was knowing that they grow organically. Great selection and good prices. Will definitely be back.
