This is a reasonable example of a local dollar store . It's not in the "nicest "part of town but it looks like they try to do the best that they can . It's easy to criticize , but not so easy to do a job like this . They apparently do a large volume of business because there is often stock fresh from the truck in the aisle . If they didn't have stuff in the aisle they would never have the items that you go there for . There is alot of stress on the employees in a high crime area like this , so it's not surprising that they might get a little short with the young punks who come in with hoodies over their head and face . The place has been robbed before , so please consider that and be thankful that they are there for you to get what you want .

Never go into this store. The staff working at 8:30 at night on Thursday September 28th 2023 were the most aggressive and rude individuals i hace ever met. I was having a hard time looking for something and had to keep calling my wife for help to locate it and when i asked an employee he became so aggressive and talked down to me for being in the store too long. I might add that b him and b and another employee werebrightboutside smoking mariguana it was obvious to him that I needed help and he chose to barate me I assume because I'm not black. I was nothing but nice and hoping hebwould understand that shopping is not my Forte. Something needs to be done or I am taking this much much higher. I've never been treated like that. #boycot Family dollar until they can train they're staff to treat paying customers with respect.

Wednesday September 13Worse experience ever... Cashier was loud and rude and disrespectful..I Attempted to purchase a pack of cigarettes. Showed her a picture of my ID on my phone.. Cause sometimes I forget my wallet..clear and readable on the front and back...mind you every other store takes it but some how this place has not caught up to the 2023... smhanyway long story short was told she would ask the manager with a rather rude tone..(ATTITUDE)..she ran down an Isle can back literally 5 secs later saying that they can't take the photo of my license on my phone...smh...this place needs to stop hiring d*** kids and get adults who know how to handle a transaction of this nature.... never got to talk to the manager myself to see what the problem was...smh.. which shows the management is lacking as well...smhI see all the ratings on here now about this place... please heed the ratings and stay away...hope FAMILY DOLLAR Sees this and takes steps to make this place a better place to shop..

Needing . Law info... . My husband. . And I have gone to the dollar store. Over 3 yrs.And. For the last . Few months.Every time. WE gone on ther employee paige. .pukks up my husband's clothes.. .against many laws. I kw. . Cops should be called.Last nite. Went. In no issue didn't have what I needed. .but. . Came this morning looking for. Crafting. Items. . Paige. Pukked up his clothes. Wanting file. Lawsuit.And Manger was in store last. Nite.

Complaint:Store#114714923 Monkhouse Dr.318-642-9384Plus size Black Female worker age around 30 something. Wednesday, Dec.28 @ 4:39pm.Black cashier call me a Mother Fucker repeatly, because I ask question about items on clearance area ringing up full price. I ask why items are full price? Also, the orange sign on it stated: "Family Dollar Clearance Area"Then, she became more verbal abusiv by using the word F*** you and You Mother Fucker!I took pictures of the "Family Dollar Clearance AreaI quitely and peace left store.Also, there was a White lady worker witnessing this. The white work name tags said Tammy. Tammy was passive aggressive, because she agreed with the verbal abusive treatment and she also, refused to sell me my items and threw my items behind the counter.The Black worker was Nasty, rude, Unprofessional, dishonest, misleading, and acted with No integrity. As a value customer I'm very disappointed and I've Never experienced this type of treatment in Any place of business. I will be exhausting All my administrative remedies until this matter is resolved. Thank you

That stores gives a great impression on people from out of town, that stay in the surrounding hotels, that may shop there! There hasn’t been 1 time that I have been there that it was messy. They are very well stocked! The manager runs a good and polite crew! At least I see the politeness when I stop in which is 3-5 times a week on my way to work! I must say I haven’t been in any other locations that are like this one anywhere else in Shreveport!
