Went in on 2/2/24 to pick up a called-in prescription. Was told by pharm tech it wasn’t ready and to return on 2/3/24. Received an email from CVS confirming it would be ready on 2/3. Returned next morning. Pharmacy was supposed to open at 10. No one showed up to open until 11:50. Numerous customers were inconvenienced by this lack of professionalism. When I tried to pick up my prescription, I was that not only was it not ready, I couldn’t pick it up because it had been called in from a Dr. in TX and they couldn’t prescribe that particular med from an out-of-state doctor. Why did they accept the call-in? Why wasn’t I informed of this the first time I went in? On the contrary, I was assured it would be ready. The poor lady who had to tell me was they were unable to fill my prescription was very apologetic, but the guy filling the prescriptions was downright rude and dismissive of any customer with a question. We are changing to a different company, as were at least two other customers who waited two hrs for service, then were treated like nuisances. Do better, Youree Drive CVS.

Their pharmacy refuses to use the drive through option. I have been refused service by this window during operational hours when no one is in the store. The people who work here are also frequently rude. And today they are closed during normal business hours with no explanation.

The pharmacy is so horrible, my meds was sent out that day and the next day I put into the app to have my meds filled and I did it around 12:00 and I get at the pharmacy around 5:34pm and my meds was not ready. It every time I have to fill my meds I have to wait for ages. It just a horrible system.

Last year, I switched from CVS in Target to CVS at the corner of Youree & Kings. Just made more sense since it was closer to home & it had a drive through. The first time I called & talked to the pharmacist to make sure they had been transferred over, his first question was “Why did you want to change pharmacies?” I explained it was sheerly out of convenience. He then said “well when you take 2 controlled substances Adderall & Ambien), it looks bad when you’re switching pharmacies back & forth with those kinds of drugs. I replied “I’m aware of what pharmacy shopping is, I’m a RN, but I only take 2 meds (and I’m aware they’re scheduled) AND this is the only pharmacy change I’ve made since it was closer to my house. He then hinted that some pharmacies might refuse to fill them because they might think I was pharmacy shopping just so I was aware. I have had pretty much the same experience anytime I’ve had to deal with any of them. They are all severely lacking patience, personality, AND empathy in a patient facing, customer service position. They are rude & condescending when you ask them any questions. A older gentleman standing in front of me said to the pharmacist “I just got started on 2 new meds but I just had a question about it. But I can come back another day & ask when you aren’t quite so busy if you’d rather…” To which the pharmacist loudly interrupted him & said “Oh yea, that won’t help. We’re ALWAYS busy here!” And rolled her eyes at him. I couldn’t believe what this system has turned into. I worked 15 years as a labor & Delivery nurse so I am 150% aware of the demand, stress, underpaid, understaffed conditions these folks are working in. But at the same time, can’t a smile & a tad bit of empathy, & professionalism make the day go by a little better? Thank you for your time.

The pharmacy is absolutely terrible. Long waits in the phone. I have all of my meds enrolled in auto refill and they’re never done in time. I always have to physically go inside to get my auto-refill prescriptions filled….. currently looking for a new pharmacy to use.

Sat on the phone today for over an hour, trying to get my meds transferred to this location, and they wouldn't pick up. I called at about 9:20 and hung up an hour later because of the hour long wait.

Wife called to fill a prescription Thursday and we went to pick it up Sunday. They hadn’t done anything yet and we waited over a half hour for one prescription with no one else waiting around. Incredibly lazy staff.

We just got our vaccines and the pharmacy staff was prompt, professional, polite and friendly! Our wait time was minimal.

It's under new management, and I totally noticed a difference for the better. I look forward to returning.

I only gave one star because there wasn’t an option to give ZERO. The pharmacy staff is absolutely HORRIBLE, rude, unprofessional and LAZY. I use this pharmacy for my daughter’s prescriptions but looking for a different location. They NEVER have your prescription ready even after 2 days of calling it in. I stood in line 25 minutes and listened to the black female pharmacy tech discuss patient/customer business with the tech and another customer. Please tell me how that is legal and ok with CVS as a whole??!!If you don’t like people or your job, do something different. It is unacceptable to go to a place of business to make a purchase and the staff make YOU feel like YOU have inconvenienced their social media time. This location need to close permanently!!!!!

Two days ago I dropped off prescription and confirmed with a lady that it was in stock, was told it was going to be filled yesterday. I came in today to pick it up and Braids said they had to call and verify and they aren’t in stock until Monday. He does not care about how long you wait, just wants to make it to closing time. I’ve been here for an hour, love the customer service. Thanks for misleading and wasting my time.

I turned in a prescription July 28, it still wasn’t filled by 8/3. I called the pharmacist and asked if I could come pick up the prescription to take it somewhere else ( I had called and found the medication at a different pharmacy). The pharmacist with an attitude and braids said I could . I drive 20 minutes , go in a wait 20 minutes only to be told that I couldn’t pick it up because it was an electronic script . Then blamed me because I didn’t know his policy . It would have taken him 5 minutes to check before he answered and save me at least an hour this morning , I also missed out on the meds from the other pharmacy because someone filled their script before I had a chance to call my doctor and have her call in another script . Had I not wasted time with him , that would not have happened. Now I’m on back order again !

If you’re bored you can call the pharmacy and listen to their recording for hours before they pick up!

The workers here are rude and you will end up waiting for literal hours in line just to speak to a pharmacist or the pharmacist technician. No matter the time or day they will only have one pharmacist working along with one pharmacy technician. They are hard workers but the one pharmacist has to do the work of 3 people since the pharmacy runs poorly while not having more than one pharmacist. To keep up they should have 2 or more pharmacist, but to save money corporate keeps only one pharmacist working and they have to do the work of 2+ pharmacist and even though I know the pharmacist they have working now there's no way they alone can keep up. Same goes for the pharmacy technician. Those people have to answer calls, work the window, answer questions to help people, accept prescriptions coming in and going out, handle the phone calls between prescribers, as well as work the cash register helping out customers in the store. Most of the techs are rude but I would be too if they had me doing my job along the job of 3 other people. If you go here, you will wait for some time just to speak to someone let alone to pick anything up or drop anything off.I understand CVS pharmacy and their motives for hiring one for each position in the pharmacy, I know they would rather hire and underpay the two workers and work them until burn out and then they get rid of them. If you point this out that there is no way one person could handle the quantity of work ment for 4 people to do ( while barely being payed competitively for the original job they're hired on for you can expect your concerns to fall on deaf ears or you could even find yourself getting fired for "unrelated" reasons than you pointing out how messed up the situation is. Everywhere follows this system of hiring the fewest amount of people possible, underpaying them, and then when the employee decides to find another job that will listen and treat them right and not expect them to do their job along with 4 other people's job and then they just immediately hire someone else which they then wear them down in the same fashion until they find work elsewhere, rinse and repeat.
