Opened our boxes after moving and found many broken items. Just no common sense. Packed heavy items with light items. I hope I can post all the photos. Will Never Recommend !!

The workers are rude, lazy, and elderly(health issue). They were hired by the government to move, unpack, and assemble my furniture. They couldn’t handle the workload. Left dirty hand prints all over my walls. They told me when they arrived they were not doing any of the required work the contract requested of them. In my 13 years in the Military I have never encountered a moving company this terrible. They left trash all over my lawn on the base. Just embarrassing just moving to the neighborhood. 0 stars is what they deserve. Run!! Do not waist your time or money.

Central-Herrin was the local connection to Allied Movers for my cross-country move. Everything went smoothly. Office staff was friendly and returned my calls. The estimator was reassuring. I was disappointed with the packers who packed almost twice as many boxes as originally estimated even though I had gone to great lengths to purge unnecessary items. Upon unpacking I was amazed at the waste of paper. 4 sheets of paper for 6 tubes of Chapstick, twice!

I needed some help loading a U-Haul trailer a couple of weeks ago. I called Central Herrin Moving to see if they could help. They sent 3 men to load. They were on time, most professional, courteous, friendly and very hard workers. Absolutely no problems with breakage when we unloaded after a 13 hour drive. Absolutely worth every Penny. You need help, call Central Herrin.Bob EverettShreveport, LA

The WORST move of my life. We hired Central Herrin for packing and moving for two houses that were being combined into one new home. They offered us additional moving insurance and we decided to add it. The packers packed up multiple boxes that included way more packing paper than needed so that some boxes were 80% paper so that they could charge us for more boxes than necessary. They wrapped non-breakable items like stuffed animals with tons of paper while leaving breakable items unprotected. They also left quite a few items unpacked, which means the movers left them behind and we had to move them ourselves. The movers showed up the next day and damaged or destroyed multiple items. Our kitchen island was carried out and loaded onto the truck upside down so that the entire top was ripped from the cabinet. The back of our sewing machine cabinet was ripped off. Pieces were broken off our treadmill and sewing machine. They scratched the front of our stainless-steel fridge and damaged several other items. We moved on 3/15/22. We filed the claim with Emily at Central Herrin on 4/4/22 who the took nearly a month to process it. When that finally contacted us to let us know the claim was ready for payment, they lowballed us by over $200 because they only processed the 1st page of the claim and ignored the 2nd page! Emily then forwarded the claim to their insurance company which took another 2 months to process the claim. They contacted us on 6/27/22 with the total they were paying for damages and told us that Central Herrin would be sending a check, which never came. At one point, Emily told us (after dodging our phone calls and failing to return calls) that the check had been put in the mail “last week”. We then learned from their insurance company a couple weeks late that she informed them that she had been sick and would be mailing the check soon. We still haven’t sorted out which version of that story is accurate. FINALLY, on 8/10/22 we were informed that the check had been returned in the mail because they insurance company gave Central Herrin the wrong ZIP code for our address, the address the Central Herrin MOVED US TO. TLDR; Central Herrin dramatically overcharged us for packing, destroyed multiple items, and them took 130 days to pay out on our insurance claim.
