The proprietor is absolutely Racist ❗️The truth is upon first glance walking in the store you would think it’s business as usual but at least twice that I’ve been in this store the owner had something negative to say about black people as though I wasn’t black…I mean the owner even told me personally of a story about him being accused of racism earlier in his life…The owner is the kind of guy who’s so comfortable being racist he doesn’t even realize he’s being racist anymore when speaking to black people. Thumbs ?? down on this particular store and I suggest that anyone of the black ethnicity sadly should not support this business.

Visited Beard and Blade today. Enjoyed a great conversation with the owner! I visited for the “Blade” side of things. I was very pleased with Mr. Roger’s inventory of artisan shave soaps, pre-shaves, and after shaves. I even picked up a sweet, badger “mug brush.” I will be back!

About 4-5 years ago, an old supervisor of mine showed me this place when i was interested in shaving with a safety razor. Too scared to start so i never did until about a year ago so i initially bought beginners stuff online and now i am regretting it! I am all about supporting small businesses and this is one of them!! If anyone is interested in saving money in the long run and nervous about shaving with a safety razor go talk to Mr Roger! And if you’re not local and stationed elsewhere i encourage yall to find a place like this!! Veteran owned!

I visited Beard and Blade on Saturday April 18, 2021. The store is clean and bright. It’s well organized. Being a newbie to beard care, Roger took the time to explain what all can be involved in beard care. He explained the various product options. The store also carries shaving care and hair care products. A big plus for me is that he is a veteran, and supports the military and first responders. I encourage all veterans and active military who need shaving or beard products to stop in and buy something. Support a veteran brother. Roger is a good guy who takes the time to find out what his customers needs are and help them meet their needs.

I found this place today due to the recommendation of some friends. Let's just put it this way (to keep it short), to say I was impressed would sell this place too short. It is not everyday you go into a business and are educated in the products and how to properly use them. Roger and his store are a godsend to our community. There are not many businesses I can think of where I would say this, but i look forward to my next trip to Beard & Blade Grooming Co. Thank you Roger, I will be seeing you again soon.
