“I brought in a painting done by my great-uncle in 1961. I knew it needed attention, but was somewhat hesitant to go through with a cleaning. I'm SO glad I did! When I went to view it today, I was speechless! It didn't look like the same painting that hung at the end of the hallway when I was growing up.The staff helped my wife and I select an appropriate frame. Their knowledge and insight made the experience enjoyable! “My family and I, who have lived in Bossier for years, visited Artspace for the first time last weekend. We didn't know anything about it, so we had no expectations. We were able to look at the art at our own pace but there was someone there if we had questions. We're not art lovers but we did find a few favorites. “There are but 3 Rainforest Art Foundations on this entire planet. There's one in New York City, another global location in Zurich, Switzerland. The other is in Los Angeles-wait, no. I meant Vancouver. Noooo. London? Paris? Rio De Janeiro? Chicago? No. No. No. And no. That's not correct, either. The Rainforest Art Foundation aside from NYC, and Zurich, is right here in Shreveport, Louisiana on the 700 block of Travis Street in the site of what was once the YWCA building. The mission of this fine organization is to educate the masses about Amazon Rainforest conservation through works of art.”
