“I've lived in this area for close to 10 years now and this branch of the post office has always served my needs. Every postal carrier that I've interacted with on our route has always been friendly and courteous. There have even been a couple times when a package or certified mail had issues being delivered. Each time when I called the branch to ask about it the local postmaster replied quickly and resolved our issue.”

“I had some holiday packages to mail and kept putting it off because I knew how long the lines would be. Someone mentioned how the Broussard branch was always empty and it is close to my house so I decided to go here. Not only was it fairly empty (two people ahead of me and the line moved swiftly) the employee was so sweet and personable. This was around noon on a Tuesday before Christmas so I expected a zoo with grumpy zoo keepers. I was very pleasantly surprised and will definitely be doing all of my post office business here from now on. It's right off of Hwy 90, but taking the back way via Morgan Avenue will save you the traffic headache if Hwy 90 is busy.”
“I saw all Low reviews so I made it a point to make sure I was going to be honest. I was returning some thing that I purchased online so showed up and was not prepared. In other words I didn’t have a box or an envelope or tape. They had signs everywhere on every counter, saying, please be prepared with an envelope, sealed and taped before approaching the counter. I wasn’t prepared so I went and found an envelope to purchase and then I realized again that I needed a tape which I had to purchase. The man was very friendly to all the customers, and he mentioned are you gonna be paying for tape, and I said yes. In my head, I was aggravated having to pay for and I knew at home I had some; but then he said you know what I’ll help you out and he used the tape behind the counter. I thanked him and I told him I was slightly irritated that I would have to be paying for tape, but I saw all the signs , so I knew he was doing me a favor. So in conclusion be prepared when you go to this post office when you returning items. You’ll need an envelope or a box taped. The workers here are very friendly.”

“Ignore the individual ranting about the Scott post office closing early on the 19th of June. It did NOT close EARLY. Juneteenth is now a FEDERAL holiday and therefore the ALL USPS locations are CLOSED the ENTIRE DAY.The Scott location has wonderful people working in there. Always a pleasant experience.”
