Great luncheon specials and cool old store. Run by locals and always a pleasure to stop there. Much better than staying on the main highway.

I stopped by to fill up, make a head call, and get a cold drink on my way home back to South Texas. The staff was nice and they sure had some interesting customers. I wish that I had more time to have stayed and listen to the conversations and perhaps made some new friends. Alas, I was already running very late as I had gone far out of my way just to drive down highway 309 which is my one of my favorite roads in Louisiana.
