“My store. I usually go to the store on Government and Acadian. The staff there are great;. they leave the drama at the door, and I never see anyone texting on the job. They are all about the customer and are always friendly, hospital, and knowledgeable on anything I ask about. Every time I go there, I always leave feeling better than when I walked in! ?. ?They always put the customer 1st ?”
“Very clean, well stocked store. They have milk in cartons that have a nice shelf life. Friendly and helpful staff. One helped a teacher get enough small stockings for her class. Another found the cherry flavored candy canes I always enjoy getting for Christmas.”
“Store was clean well organized and was asked if I needed help locating anything just once unlike other places who follows you around and keeps asking if you need anything that's aggravating if I need help I'll ask but truly it's because they think your trying to steal so they follow and watch every move that's embarrassing when your trying to shop like normal customer's”
“1:30pm 6/20/24 The 2 young gentleman working right now have to be some of the nicest Dollar General Employees I've ever met. Quick, helpful and very polite. They deserve raises, they make DG look good!!”

“I love Homewood one of my favorite places to pick up items for my home. They have large selections but are definitely always crowded. I was a little disappointed when I went to take an item back and had my receipt but I now had an updated card because my last one was stolen and was advised I can only get a store credit. To me there was no purpose in having my receipt. This policy should be changed”
“If it is true that there are many things in 5 dollars and others in more but the majority is in 5, you can find offers on toys and many things such as makeup, cars, paint and other things”
“My grandmother and I were taking a trip to Texas to see my dying father when my 90 year old grandmother had a horrible accident in her pants. We had to stop at this location, and the girls that worked there were so very understanding and compassionate. We had to buy her a whole new set of clothes, undergarments, wipes and everything. They allowed us to use their restroom to clean up and even allowed her to change before paying. Of course we cleaned up any mess we had made, but the kindness they showed was above and beyond. They seriously deserve a raise for the way they handle the situation. Highly recommend this location!!!”
“By far the cleanest, friendliest nicest Dollar General Store I’ve visited in years. The Assistant Manager Dana has amazing customer service. The fact that she was so attentive to everyone that came through the line and greeted everyone with a warm good morning, is top tier. Thank you Dana. I pray every day for you and your family is filled with an abundance of blessings.”
“This particular store was very clean and organized... I've been to this location about 3 years ago and it was a mess... To see it under new management and how well they had turned it around...really says something about the team... I gave 4 stars overall...only if I get that "WOW EXPERIENCE" will you get a 5 star rating from I...nevertheless...GOOD JOB GUYS...”
“I'm sad to say that the prices have gone up to $1.25, but honestly, after all these years I'm not complaining. I still found all my favorite Dollar Tree items. The store was clean and well-stocked.”
“They have a lot of selection everything you need for yourself and the family. Reasonable prices on name brands items. The shopping experience was great. Checking out was the problem. Not enough registers open only 2 open to check out. Lost about 25 minutes of my day waiting to pay for my items. Customers were complaining, and some customers left. Ross lost money that day, and it was a Saturday.”
“This is a mini Walmart.good quality , mostly off-brand stuff. You never know exactly what you may find at a great price. The books are the BEST part of the store, in my opinion. It’s just like a book department used to look. My rule was, when going in any store with my young kids, if we were shopping for more than 15 minutes, they could pick out ANYTHING that they could read. Even if it was over their abilities, it demonstrated a desire….and that’s a lot….read about children’s decline in reading for pleasure.”
