This store has the grossest bathrooms I have ever seen in a store. You could visibly see the ring of dirt from the toilets not ever being cleaned. I was just passing through, but if I lived nearby I would absolutely come in with gloves, mask, bleach and scrub everything down

If I could I would rate them with Zero stars. Not only are they unhelpful and leave you wandering the isles, I have called out to someone over 3 times for help before only to be ignored, the first time I called out to them (even though they just turned down the isle) they would turn around and pretend they didn't hear me until I raised my voice to the point that I had to yell. If there was another grocery store in Ruston I would go there but there isn't so I can't. Not to mention the last 3 times I ordered off the app they got the order wrong and left stuff off that I know was in stock. They are Lazy and unhelpful. The moment a new grocery store is built I don't care how far it is I will go there just to avoid this Walmart.

SAD SAD All the employees are lazy lazy LAZY I placed an online order early in the morning to be picked up at 8 pm the same day, mind you their normal hours are from 6-11 pm, and it only gave me 8 pm as my pick up time. Around 7 pm I saw one of their employees post they would be closing at 9pm. So I called to ask if I could at least get the medicine for my SICK KID from my order, since they were going to delay it,and the lady on the phone had an attitude from the beginning and HUNG UP, when I asked if I could get the medicine and I could not get anyone to answer after that. They would pick up the phone and then hang back up I could literally hear them talking! I don't even like going to the store because of their attitudes so I figured online pickup would be a safe way to avoid it but nope. They need to do better now the money has been taken out of my account for medicine I can't give my child. SOMETHING NEEDS TO BE DONE. I worked at Walmart for years and this is not acceptable behavior people need to be fired or retrained immediately.

So imagine this. My buddy got his oil changed up at the Walmart here in ruston. He went back home to New Orleans for the weekend. When he got back, his roommate noticed he had oil dripping on the carport. My buddy called Walmart to get his oil changed again. Here's where I come in. I've worked at an oil change shop before and I understand the ins and outs dos and don't. Keith the Department Manager in the auto center says to my buddy on the phone "You will need to get a couple quarts of oil and fill it up to bring it here". My buddy call me and says can you help and I came over. Then we go up to Walmart and then meet the department manager. Buddy asks that it's not fair for him to have to buy the oil when it's their fault because he's too nervous to drive it that far on that low of oil (nothing on the dip stick)I then say " I've worked at an oil change shop...." "We really don't know how low it is because it's not on the dipstick..." Well he then says sure we'll get a couple quarts. We go to get the oil off the shelf and Keith grabs the cheapest oil on the shelf and harmful to my buddys engine. GTX Ultaclean (Conventional Oil) which is harmful to my buddys engine. My buddy got the High mileage oil. I tell Kevin that he says "I've been doing this a long time son I know what I'm talking about". I asked is that a threat? "No im just speaking my mind." I then asked if they will be cleaning the engine with brake clean. He says no with a couple of rags. At this point I just gave up on the ignorance. Walmart, you need to get your customer service up. This was absolutely terrible customer service when it was y'all's fault in the first place. Especially coming from me a former worker in the field that has thousands of oil changes under my belt.

Employees are all SORRY asf ! They are ALL lazy , of no assistance . Walk around all day while seeing customers needing assistance . More worried about being cute at work instead of working , if you call they never answer and when they finally do they put you on hold until another associate picks up the phone and hangs it right up without even answering . If Ruston had another Supercenter this would definitely be closed down ! I called for assistance over 5 times while in the store and no one came , meanwhile walking around me the entire time . I also called 3 times before I went inside because no one would answer a simple in stock question instead I was put on hold over and over until someone hung the phone up. When I called back no one answered by that time I was inside the building . I had to call again while I'm the store to ask for assistance after I had already stopped an employee and asked . The woman immediately hung the phone up in my face , although she did end up bussing for assistance no one ever came After I stood there for 40 minutes I looked everything up online and searched through isle numbers which were also incorrect and items were out of stock even though it said they were in stock online.

The most understaffed place in Ruston. Many items in the beauty section are locked, as well as in the technology section. That's 100% understandable, but if they're going to have everything locked up they should have workers in the departments to be ready to unlock the items. I waited over 20 minutes in the technology and no workers were ever in sight, same with beauty and I found a worker at checkout to get the keys. The only reason I'm giving two stars is because the door greeters are always super nice

Asked which register to got to and was told to got to self check out. Have requested twice to speak to manager over a rude employee and still waiting. No wonder Wal-Mart has such horrible reputation! If the employee doesn't want to work here McDonald's is just down the road.

This is a 24 hour Wal-Mart and I can appreciate that however, what is difficult to accept is that NONE of the lanes are open for checkout EXCEPT the self-checkout lanes and it's the holidays. This doesn't seem to be the most efficient way to run a business. The line for self-checkout is lengthy and there is one that is out of order and another that only takes credit/debit cards. Come on now!!!

Definitely needs improvement. Shelves are often low on inventory, and short on staff. With the exception of the holiday season, never more than a hand full of registers open. Hoping new management will be able to make the necessary changes.

The Ruston Walmart Super Center is not so super you call them they won't answer and yes I've tried a couple times today!!! So I drove up there and couldn't find anyone that could help me in the hunting section for ammo and was trying to find some coffee in the food section and the ones that would talk to me sounded very rude and was no help!!! So I started to check out and of course the registers are all working but the employees are all on break!!! Lol then u started looking around at the floors and really thought they was very nasty around the registers so I left my buggy and went to Super One and it was a lot better with everything!!!!! So I guess I'll start going there .

They never clean this Wal-Mart. Problem is they can't close it to clean because it is only store like it in town. Staff doesn't give a hoot. Products are always out of stock. And they never have enough registers open. Don't go after 8 or 9. Can get shady around then.

I've lived here for 20 years now. If I could, I wouldn't give it any stars. I don't know which Walmart the first reviewer actually went into but can't see how it can be this one. Maybe she reviewed this by mistake? This is THE WORST Walmart I've ever been in. Rarely organized and often bare. You usually have to play hide and seek for prices and sometimes they're never to be found. They often stop carrying products that we use on a regular basis. Most of the employees could care less if you the customer is even there. Asking for help is usually NOT HELPFUL. I've been in check outs where the checkers are actually holding personal conversations across the lanes instead of focusing on their job. Bathrooms are pitiful with broken locks on most stalls. I, along with MANY others who live here, consider it to be a stain on our pretty decent city of Ruston. I don't want to see the jobs gone but it needs a serious overhaul.

This Walmart is more crowded than most places in Ruston, but if you can handle the overload of people and students - it definitely has the best food selection in my opinion among the area grocery stores (not counting The Olde Wheat Barn ;-)). They also have some cheap, nice Louisiana Tech clothes!
