Last night I called Walgreens a few minutes after 9:00 pm and asked the clerk if Western Union was still accessible on their computer. The young lady (Brianna) wasn't sure, so she said she would ask her manager. Her manner was so positive that my wife, having overheard her said, "Wow, that is a friendly clerk!"I asked if that was unusual from Walgreens or just unusual in general. She said in general. It is not always easy to find service industry workers with a positive, upbeat attitude and willingness to go the extra mile, especially at 9:00 at night. When someone stands out, as Brianna did, I like to try to let the manager know or give a good review. What she found out and shared with me saved me a wasted trip to Walgreens that evening, while I was not feeling well. Thank you, Brianna.

Worst pharmacy and rudest people I have EVER dealt with, especially the pharmacist named Hannah. Clerks do not know what they are doing and had me wait a hour for a prescription that needed a doctors renewal.Do yourself a favor and go anywhere else. I used another WalGreens in another city and never had a problem. I don’t know how this one stays in business

Sitting in line at walgreens for 30 minutes pull up to the window as an employee shuts the blinds to the drive through pick in my face with a sign on the window thats says “drive thru closed please come inside”. Get inside, already 5 people ahead of me and then 7 who were also in line come in behind me. 3 registers. 1 tech. 1 pharmacist in the back. I do not blame the tech or the pharmacist they were nice and doing the best they could. I do however blame walgreens for under staffing and i am sure over working these people. There is obviously a need, this was 6 in the afternoon right when people are getting off work and on their way home. Also, there should be an open/closed light outside so 7 people dont line up in the drive thru pickup just to realize its closed in there face…… insane. Whats should have took 10 minutes took an hour to pick up my wife’s meds. And judging by the reviews this is common practice at this establishment.

Slowest most inefficient pharmacy I have ever had the displeasure of using. Constantly always slow slow slow. Should not take 30 minutes to process 4 cars. How do I get a text saying my scripts are ready and it still takes a full 10 minutes once I get to the window to get my medicine? It’s not ready if it’s not ready. When will management step in?? You have MAJOR PROCESS PROBLEMS!Still waiting. It’s been a full 51 minutes and counting. I’ve been at the window for at least 10 minutes. So ridiculous. There is a line if cars around the building plus a line inside which I see progress much faster. Guess I’ll have to go inside and risk getting their diseases if I can’t just sit out here and pollute the environment all day. Lord help us

Have had to use this pharmacy since it’s the only one open on sundays over the years and there’s always a problem. The worst in Ruston. Never use this pharmacy, it needs to be shut down. If your child needs something filled on a Sunday you’re better off driving to Monroe or Shreveport. Absolute disgrace of a business.

Absolutely HORRIBLE Pharmacy!!! Why were there just 3 workers??!? And only 1.5 of them knew what was going on?? Corporate you really need to do something here. Not sure how this place exists. Absolutely horrible!!

The WORST pharmacy I've ever had the DISPLEASURE of encountering. I was visiting from out of state and this pharmacy was closest to me. Meds called in at 9 a.m.; go to pharmacy at 9:30 a.m. to see if they received the prescription, girl asks for my info and proceeds to say 'Youre not in the system.'. I say that it was called in at 9 a.m. so I am needing to know if it went to this pharmacy. She then says 'well there's 85 people in front of you'. I look at her and said 'but you just said I'm not in there and now I'm in there and there's 85 people in front of me?'. She rolled her eyes and said come back at 10 a.m. Ok, I do just that. Come back at 10 a.m. of course meds aren't ready and she says come back at 11 a.m. ok, I do just that. Come back and there is another woman at the window who says that the meds I need aren't in stock come back at 2 p.m. I tell her I can't come back at 2 I have to get kids from school. She has the audacity to get an attitude and say 'WELL DO YOU NEED YOUR MEDS TODAY?'. I say of course I do otherwise I wouldn't have meds being filled. She basically told me come back tomorrow. I leave before I completely lose my christianity and go Hulk on her. I call while heading to the house and say I will be back at 3:30 have my meds filled and ready. She said meds will be filled. Oh really? Bc you just said you didn't have the meds. Oh well, neither here nor there at this point. Get to the house get recommended another pharmacy and to call and have it transferred. Cool. Start that process. Walgreens then proceeds for the next 2 hours to put the other pharmacy on hold and NEVER COME BACK. Finally I call Walgreens, I don't know who I had the immense displeasure of speaking with this time as it was a different woman. But I tell her I've been told 4 diff times to come get my meds, they're never ready and she interrupts me to yell and say MAAM WE ARE WEEKS BEHIND ON FILLING PRESCRIPTIONS AND IT IS NOT MY PROBLEM IF YOURS ISNT FILLED! I then tell her it is her problem that if they are so far behind they need to start telling people it will be weeks before scripts are filled and they may want to go to another pharmacy. She thens says she is going to hang up on me since IM BEING RUDE. I told her I want my prescription transferred to the other pharmacy who has my meds and will fill it NOW. She got ugly and asked what pharmacy etc. I told her and she said she was sending it over. Took another hour for the other pharmacy to receive it and then fill it within 7 minutes. What is the name of the other pharmacy you ask? Mitchell's Pharmacy in Jonesboro, Louisiana. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND USING THEM! THEY ARE KIND, AMAZING AND FAST!! Walgreens sucks and should be shut down!!

Probably one of the worse pharmacies ever. Staff is incompetent. After confirming they still don't have your meds ready. When I ask if I can pay cash they said they still have to run it through insurance and have to wait till it clears with the insurance company? Idiots.

If I could give this Walgreens pharmacy a negative star, I would. I don't even know where to start with the problems I've had with this place. This place is slow and disorganized.. was told my husband's script was ready. Told to take a seat that it would only be a few. Hour and a half later, the line was so long and not moving, I decided to go through the drive thru. Waited another 20 minutes to be told it would be another hour. They still have it advertised that they have walkinins for vaccinations. Waited for 45 minutes to be told I needed to make an appointment online.. I made an appointment online only to be told when I went in for the appointment that they don't take appointments this late in the day. This is a lie because I saw people getting vaccines anyone another day at the same time of day.

This pharmacy is the worst. They can't find prescriptions that are sent in digitally then claim they can't fill them because they have 200 more stickers. .they posted a sign on the day of my kids second covid vaccine that they weren't giving them because it was too busy. we were the only ones their and they set up the appointment after the first vaccine!! Not me!! They literally can not get anything done in a timely manner. I am currently working to move my entire family to a new pharmacy.
