Neighborhood convenience store that has never failed me. Not just milk and bread but nutmeg (true story!) and just now a jar of pimento. Stop by for one of the lunch specials - you won’t be disappointed.

I love this store and have since Bobby Ambrose took ownership, I loved before that too. The difference to me and the reason I enjoy stopping in here is the very thing every single retail establishment should embrace and that is excellent customer service, this place tops the list in that area to me. They greet you the say thankyou and eventually if they dont already know your name they will. I have always felt as if the owners and management of this establishment had such good values because they lived in the community that they serve and it shows. I would say to anyone stop in and see for yourself. It may be a little higher on this or that but it is a convient store with convient hours and a very good shopping experience. Every time I go to Ruston la I stop at Ambrose. Five stars and more if I could to Ambrose country corner .
