I have been going to this store for decades. The only friendly person who has ever worked here was Mr.Bennie and he has passed on. The store is always hot, I have gone in numerous times and shopped without a single word spoken to me. No Hello, no thanks for shopping, no would you like a bag. Some of the food is good if you can get them to get up and get it. 9 times out of 10 the pizza is old and dry and hard. I went in today and me and one other person in the while place stood at the food spot and the lady just stood over by the kitchen door playing with a trash bag. I just put what I had up and left. They might as well close at 2 because the food that's been left over is old and dry. Sometimes still sandwiches and biscuits left from breakfast still in the case. Ordered a meat pie a few times only for it to be crawfish. Just rude and unfriendly and terrible service. I have said I wouldn't review this place for a long time but today was just the last straw.

It's a good little convenience station. The food prepared, has always looked fresh; there are usually multiple options. It is a little pricer than options around, as in Leesville or Deridder; because this is what Rosepine has to offer as far as a lunch break, or another "on the go" or time related reason. But, as I saying, the food has always been very good.

Yelled at my elderly father, who uses a walker for bringing in his SERVICE ANIMAL. Told him to "Leave that dog outside!!". My father kindly tried to explain he wanted no problems and that his dog was a trained service animal. Tried telling him he needed one thing. The man didn't care.If you have a service animal, expect to be yelled out and treated poorly. My father needs that animal. He can faint at any moment and that dog let's him know when it's about to happen.

Great small town little pit stop area. They sell food and drink there, and have a TV with a remote on the table so be quick and you'll be the one controlling the TV.

Gas is way high, but you can get Hunt Brothers Pizza, Krispy Krunchy Chicken, or their own menu of fried, and sometimes smoked or grilled food.

Food is hit and miss, its either good or "meh" The only constant is impolite people who run the store. Weird for a deep south establishment to have such crummy hospitality.
