If been going to coxs meat market for years it is a great market they have everything from Beans and Rice TurkeyNecks ,Neck bones,sliced meats,they pretty much have anything your looking to cook.you have to go and check this place out if you haven't been there.it is one of the oldest and Best meat butchers around.

I bought some Gumbo File from them years ago and still use it. A good File can mean the difference between a good gumbo and a great gumbo. Thank you for such a fine ingredient.

Best selection of fresh meat in the area! Oh and don't even get me started on the hogs headcheese and the smoked sausage. The hot hogs headcheese is the best I've ever tasted and that's saying a lot. I have a scavenged all of Louisiana and Cox by far has the best! The smoked sausage is equally the best. Perfect for your pot of Redbeans and Rice!! I cannot say enough good things about this place and the people that work there are super nice and accommodating. Prices are fantastic too!!
