We have, unfortunately I think, a long road ahead of us. A bundle of joy that is far more interested in simply being social than pursuing the kinds of irritations, vices, or eccentricities you expect from a young cat came into our lives, and became, seemingly at random, very ill in March.I am grateful that with some of the stories I have heard of what can best be described as "call in vets" in surroundings areas that I was able to find Acadiana Medical Center. Dr. Chris, a self described numbers guy, has been dutiful and attentive with the cat's ongoing, maddening illness that always seems to find a way to tease and flirt recouperation, but fortunately Dr. Chris has remained as attentive to the dynamic changes in the cat's condition as the condition's symptoms seem to be to being a pain.I investigated the clinic thoroughly before I committed to bringing my cat there, because I am extremely protective and anxious about her. The story and the information that was available to me seemed to consistently point in the direction of love for the concept of treating animals, handed down more than dynastically, but through like a time honored trade.My first meeting with Dr. Chris was not an easy one, where the franticity with which he tried to solve a medical emergency ran headlong into the franticity of someone who deeply loves their pet reaching desperately in my darkest hour for any kind of shred of good news.Times have been rough since that first meeting, but Dr. Chris hasn't seemed ready to give up on Miao any sooner than I am, and with the genuine adoration I have for her, it's impossible for some of that adoration to not rub off on the attentive and kind staff that are helping me give, to the best of my ability, this wonderful creature the life her tribulations and habit toward family rituals has earned her.

Chris and his staff took care of my sweet Zoey throughout her life. They are the absolute best and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a fantastic vet!

Today March 8th 2024 I tried to bring my cat to this clinic. I believe he was suffering from an upper respiratory infection and I read good reviews about this vet clinic online.When I arrived nobody in the staff greeted me, in fact the patients in the lobby were more kind and helpful than their staff was. I had to ask for someone to please help me because it was my first time there. I was a walk in and I understood that appointments needed to be honored but talking with the other patients in the lobby I realized that I was not the only walk in that came in at 2:00. Every one of the walk-ins got called back before I did and then patients that came in after me got called in immediately after walking in. At one point there was nobody in the lobby including staff except me a staff member would only show up if they heard the door open. The staff members would greet them in a friendly Manner and help them almost immediately. I've come to the conclusion that this vet did not want to see me because I brought a cat in, they were only taking dogs to the back. I think I saw somebody in the staff look at my paperwork and put it back on their counter when two little dogs came in. I just moved to Rayne and my boyfriend said that he was familiar with the family so I was excited to bring my cats to this vet but I will never step foot in there again. I'd rather drive to Lafayette to visit the vet clinics that I've visited before because they were more attentive to my cats. I would also like to point out that a staff member came into the lobby cleaning her ear with a giant Q-tip. At the same time this woman who was cleaning her ear did not acknowledge me or my cat who was sitting in the lobby for over an hour. This Clinic seemed very unprofessional and I probably dodged a bullet by not letting them examine my sick cat.

Staff was very understanding & discussed my concerns and options. I drive from Broussard just to go to this clinic- I am always pleased and reassured with their care and service. They are fair and compassionate.

We visited for the first time on Friday, September 1st, with our two dogs. Although there were about 12 people ahead of us as walk-ins, everyone was friendly and offered quick service. We were put in a room within 15 minutes of arriving and filling out paperwork. Once in the room, we were able to see the Veterinarian and she was super sweet and took her time with our babies. She also did not rush me and she answered my 10 million questions. All the techs were very kind. It was difficult to handle a 105lb dog (who thinks she has to be friends with every other dog) and a 45lb dog (who thinks he has to be friends with every human) by myself as a 5 1/2 month pregnant woman but the techs offered to hold them for me to fill out paperwork even though they didn't have to. They also accept Care Credit which is a great option for pet owners. Our visit cost us $214 for BOTH dogs. Our usual Veterinarian was going to cost us $375 for both dogs for the exact same services. It is $100 for the exam and their yearly shots and that also includes a nail trim and ear cleaning if necessary! Budget friendly and great service! We will be taking our dogs here for all future services!

I’ve been coming here for a couple years now, and this vet has the best prices around and the best staff. Thank you Dr. Chris for saving my two babies during c-section after my momma girl was having complications. These are my two miracle babies two months after c-section. Highly recommend this vet, they are busy, but it’s because they are so good! Worth any wait.

Great experience every time I bring my pets here! Been bringing all of my animals here for over 5 years. Best place to go with unbeatable prices! Such nice & friendly staff! They really care about your pets well being and try and get them in and out in a timely manner for the nervous pets. Highly recommended!

I love this place. When my baby Toto went to heaven they sent us a card and was very caring in every way possible. Now we have a new baby Rio and they are so loving when we get his shots. I'll only go here for his care.
