I wish I could give zero stars. Two words……LAAAAAZZZYYYY LIARS!!?????
This is the third time that I’ve been told a delivery was attempted with a package which ultimately will be the third time that I will have to go up there and get it myself!!!
I do everything in my power to keep my packages from being shipped via the USPS in Prairieville!!! Y’all SUCK!!!

Had to make friends with person on a different street due to post office personal not reading the entire address numbers and street of my address. Post Master told me they only look at last 3 numbers and another house in my subdivision (on a different street) have the same last 3 numbers. Therefore I have to either call the guy or he text me to receive my packages and mail regularly. Each time I go to post office, there is a new post master and the same story is "First time I've heard about this". Even complained to the New Orleans office and got it fixed for about 3 months. Now back to same problem of employees reading the whole 5 digits and me tracking down my stuff.
Not long ago they returned a letter due to not finding Smoothie King on Hwy 73 (which the road is 500 foot behind the post office). Said 'No such road' on stamp. The check inside was from Lakeside School but delivered the return mail to a co-worker on Coy Road, a different road other than 431 the school is on. They couldn't find the school either. I hand delivered the mail myself to Smoothie King because my wife works at the school and it was a fund raiser payment. Just didn't trust the PO to do it.

Continually holding packages at owner request when I made no such request. Why can they not deliver packages like they are paid to do?

I called the Prairieville post office to request to have my recently deceased son’s mail forwarded to me. I told Ms. Boudreaux what documentation I had available. I came in the next day and successfully had his mail from two prior addresses forwarded to me. Ms. Boudreaux and who I believe was the postmaster were courteous, kind and proficient. I had heard that a real ordeal was to be expected. It was actually a pleasant and easy experience.

I choose the Prairieville USPS. I travel from East Baton Rouge Parish for the friendly and excellent service at Prairieville. I don't get this service from my assigned USPS in EBR. I'm glad I found Prairieville USPS for all my postal needs; mail boxes, certified mail, passports, terrific package handling, and just nice people.

Horrible post office. Deliveries are constantly being held “at request of owner” due to the laziness of the delivery drivers. I wouldn’t mail anything important if this is your post office.

0 stars. Constantly, mail and packages, are getting delivered to the wrong mail boxes. On multiple occasions, i’ve had my neighbors mail & they’ve had mine! Also, the delivery drivers find it too hard to close ANY of the mailboxes in our neighborhood that some have resorted to putting little notes saying “please close me.” It genuinely can’t be that hard to deliver to the right house AND close the mailbox.
