The lady and two young men are “people persons”♥️. They went out of their way to be helpful to everyone in the line ahead of me…. When my turn came up I wasn’t prepared with a return label… they provided it and got me on my way. UPS PRAIRIEVILLE IS AWESOME‼️?

I Frequented the store in Prairieville on Airline Hwy on 5/30/2024. I am not going to leave names of the workers out of respect for their livelihood and reputation. My visit on this date was horrible. I visited the kiosk for Amazon and was confused about the transaction. I thought I would be receiving two labels and only received one. I was asking questions about how and what to do.
I asked three different questions and needed help and all three questions were ignored. Literally ignored, zero response.
So then I asked if they helped Amazon customers anymore and wad told by a gentleman that I “said” I was going to help myself. I did not say that. The only thing I said was hello when I walked in. Lady walked around from the back and said, “well, if you go to the kiosk you’re helping yourself. We assume you are helping yourself”
I replied that I only needed a question answered. She replied you decided to go to the kiosk. I said “wow, oh my gosh.” She then replied that I can go somewhere else. I said “mam, I am confused about this process because I thought I was getting two labels,”. I then started to try and remove the label because I needed to repackage the items. I repeated “I was just asking for help”
She replied again “you went to the kiosk so, we assumed you were helping yourself, I hope you have a Good day mam”. I said, “I will, I
Hope you have a Good day as well”
I was and am still in utter disbelief. I don’t really remember everything else that was said, but I can say that I was calm and had a low monotone voice. She told me I could leave a couple of times. I said “I am when I finish”.
When I finished I said, “next time I won’t use the kiosk. She replied, “next time you can go somewhere else”
I asked her name, she told me and then said call B$&&y on Monday, he is the owner. I said “ok, I will”
Very sarcastically she replied, “thank
You, have a nice day, you can leave now.”
I was stunned I was almost paralyzed. My jaw his the floor and all I could was smile. She repeated for me to leave and said “you are no longer welcomed here and if you don’t leave I will call the cops”
I said, “are you serious?”
She said “yup”.
I turned and walked out!
I am still stunned and in awe by the way I was treated. I can understand if I was being rude, obnoxious, yelling or raising my voice, but I was not in the slightest manner behaving in anyway other than calm. after being in the customer service industry and receiving awards and praise for the last 45 years of my life for my work ethic and attention to customers needs, I know all to well how to handle hostile people. She was the one who was hostile.
I just can’t even explain how in shock I still am. I left a complaint on the website. I will figure out how to complain to corporate if the owner does not call me back.
Wow! Just wow!

Edit…… Went to the Fed Ex inside the Walmart across the street. They knocked it out in less than 5 minutes. AND the lady was nice as could be and I didn’t feel like I was bothering them.ALSO, in UPS response below they said I “demanded” they skip other customers. That is 100% false and more bad management from this UPS store. If anything, the staff has obvious poor time management skills.Twice now I have gone to this store to ask them to bind 2 small binders that are only 10 pages a piece. The manager has spent more time educating me on why she doesn’t have time to do it versus just knocking it out. I guess they must not need my money. I also offered to come back at a later time so it would give them 4-5 hours to work it into their schedule. They have now forced me to buy my own binding machine. Customer service at this UPS is gone!!!!

D’Angelo at the store was extremely helpful. I went in with several returns not knowing how to return items from Amazon. He was very helpful patient and knowledgeable. Thank you D’Angelo.

They sell you a next day option which cost me 147.73 to get there by next business day. It got delivered the following day tried to get my refund said they couldn't because of bad weather was the cause so they didn't honor it. Checked weather conditions for that area was perfect cleared skies so someone who either missed my packaged lied saying weather conditions so they wouldn't get in trouble and not have to honor what they sell ya. It's a scam
