Out of all my years involved in cheerleading, I have never found a gym like this one! The employees and coaches are all very friendly and knowledgeable, teaching kids how to safely and correctly perform skills with perfect technique. Both the high school and college coaches are very dedicated and it is clear that they love their job. These people truly care about seeing all children excel both inside of the gym and out. With tumbling classes, rec teams, and private lessons, the inclusive atmosphere is like none other. If you are in the Baton Rouge/Prairieville area, I suggested signing your child up at LA athletics!!!! 10/10 would recommend!!!

Not sure how anyone could rate this gym anything short of a 5 star. I have absolutely no complaints and nothing but praise for Jimbo and the operation he runs. There were many instances where my daughter came home and told me she couldn’t wait to go to the gym and cheer again. I just feel so grateful for the coaches that have facilitated fun and passion for the sport of cheer in my daughter and her friends. As a proud dad, I really appreciate Jimbo and his staff. Keep up the good work!!

To start, the establishment itself is very clean and orderly and feels like a safe, fun place for kids but that’s the least of the good things I have to say. Jimbo is very experienced in all aspects of cheerleading and tumbling and it shows in the day to day operations of the facility and with the staff that he hires. The coaching staff, which is comprised mostly of college students who all have their own extensive cheerleading experience either through high-school or collegiately, take mass amounts of their time and energy to invest in the lives and skills of the girls who attend. As a result, there is consistent technical and personal growth in the athletes who are a part. Would absolutely recommend this place for any parent looking to put their child in an awesome program.

I do not recommend this cheer facility to no one. The owner Jimbo condone's bullying towards children. The Establishment is ran poorly by the owner as well as the coaches. When I tried to address about my daughter and her feelings of how she was being treated on the team. The owner Jimbo showed no concern about the situation. Instead he laughed about the situation like it was funny how my daughter was being treated. So instead of addressing the issue and seeing how to fix it. His way of fixing it was kicking her off the team. This cheer facility is ran poorly and if you care about your children keep them as far away from this place as possible.

We joined LA Athletics this year for summer camp, and it was THE BEST DECISION EVER! We completely fell in love with the staff and made new friends. Thank you to everyone at LA ATHLETICS for making my baby feel welcomed during our first summer:)
