Appreciate that the doctors informed us we could save thousands of dollars by handing us a prescription to go to Walmart, Sam's, Costco, CVS, Chewy--- to have our pets medication filled. It's so great that there are options. Did you know that you don't have to buy your pets medication from the vet clinic? All you need to do is ask! I found all of my pet's prescriptions to be hundreds less elsewhere. Thanks guys!

I brought my dog to cross the rainbow bridge yesterday. His name was Mic and the sweetest dog ever. I don’t remember anyone’s name but i wish i had. These people were so nice. All of the staff from the front desk to the Dr and vet technicians. They explained everything in detail and treated me like they have known me forever. I appreciate the kindness they showed me and my dog. They made a tough day just a little bit better. I will definitely be back to see these lovely angels.

I've been going to this vet for about 10 years, and yes I have met some mean people here.
But for the most part they are super nice and never one of vet's was mean.
My favorite vet is Cody and my second favorite is Lily.
Also, they are very knowledgeable and will help you with anything.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. I called ahead to inquire about pricing and a plan of action to treat my cat, Bear, for a UTI. The person who answered the phone was very kind and offered all the information I needed. They even offered to have him come in the day of with only a couple of hours of notice before they were to close, although I ended up making an appointment for the next morning, which is still much quicker than I've experienced with other vets. Dr. Duhon was informative and didn't try to push me to spend more money for procedures that weren't urgent. I really appreciated that because my funds are tight and the cost of all of the care ended up being fair and reasonable. I would highly recommend anyone to bring their animals here because it feels as though they care for both the animals and their owners.

Always the best! Been going to this vet for well over 20 years. Quality care, nice and thorough. Can't say enough good things about this place. They've always taken wonderful care of all of our animals over the years.

This is our regular family vet. Normally we have a good experience here, but we just had one of our dogs put down here. The Dr. Was great, but the staff needs to work on their bedside manner. The uthanasia was prescheduled. The staff seemed completely indifferent to my visably distraught mother and had us waiting in the lobby for over ten minutes before finally telling us we could go into a room that was unoccupied the whole time. There are additional ways the staff showed a lack of empathy, but I don't feel like writing a book on it.

We recently brought our new family member (Frank) to Ponchatoula Animal hospital and were thoroughly impressed with the level of care provided. The staff was incredibly compassionate and knowledgeable, provided clear explanations for all treatments and had a very gentle handling technique that eased our cat’s anxiety. We left feeling confident in the care our pet received. Highly recommend this hospital for any pet owner seeking attentive and professional veterinary care!
