Not surprised they are closed. Perhaps they should have taken the bad reviews to heart and tried serving customers the way they did when they first opened instead of forgetting people’s health is important. To them.

Not very friendly. They act as if they don't care. They didn't even call me to tell me they didn't carry the meds. Had to get a new prescription and go back to the doctor to have it sent to Winn-Dixie. Got make appointments for vaccination. Not very good service.

Tried to pick up a medication and was told they texted and said it wasn’t available. I never got that text and they did not be sure I was informed of this VERY important information so that I could make other arrangements to get this medicine and it’s a prescription that can only be refilled just before it runs out not giving you much time to make other arrangements. Then yesterday was the 4th so that made things worse. They offered to transfer the prescription not telling me that the pharmacy I chose doesn’t carry that prescription and that it could not be transferred a third time. So now we have to go back to the dr that’s across the lake and is not available today so a very pregnant woman is out of her very necessary medication until tomorrow running the risk of premature labor or even heart attack. This is someone’s life and health they are dealing with and their uncaring attitude and handing the problem off instead of trying to remedy the situation is inexcusable.

Great pharmacy with great staff and management. They truly do care about every customer. I tend to only leave generic “stars only” reviews for the good ones, but they have proven worthy of more than that.

The pharmacy staff is extremely attentive and helpful. I appreciate that they text me when my prescriptions are ready or text me if there is an issue with the prescription. They have also shopped for me through the drive-thru! I have never had to wait more than 5-10 minutes for a prescription. Love this place!

I am very disappointed in this pharmacy. First let me tell you that I used to love this place and used them for years. The people were very nice and helpful. They sent me reminders via app and text, which i was grateful for because of my terrible memory. I use to refer friends, relatives and neighbors to them all of the time.
Having said that, I am upset about what this pharmacy is doing to me. I received a message from this pharmacy that they could no longer fill my very important subscription that they have been filling for me for years. When I first asked why, they told me that my insurance doesn't reimburse them enough to cover their cost of the medication. Their cost, according to Floyd's is $336.00. According my my insurance carrier, who I had on three-way with the Floyd's agent, they reimburse Floyd's $312 (and change) for the medication plus my $40 copay. That is $354 (and change). Then they tried telling me that they don't get my copay, which is not true. The pharmacies bill the insurance company for the total cost plus the copay and then the insurance reimburses them the $312 and the co-pay. Then the agent at Floyd's changes her tune and tells me that even with the $354, they still have to pay sales tax in Louisiana. Although this is true and that Louisiana is one of two states in the U.S. that require pharmacies to pay sales tax and a $0.10 provider fee, this is still not a valid excuse because, according to Louisiana Laws TITLE 47 Revenue and taxation :: RS 47:337.11.1 Local sales and use tax; prescription drugs and pharmacist services; requirements, upon the sale of prescription drugs and pharmacist services It shall be the responsibility of the health insurance issuer to reimburse the pharmacy or pharmacist the amount of such tax. According to my insurance carrier, they do reimburse sales tax, however, the pharmacy must indicate in the electronic transaction from the sale of a prescription drug or the rendering of the pharmacist services the amount of any sales and tax. So either they weren't submitting the tax or they were not telling the truth about this because my insurance carrier said they do reimburse taxes.
Then when I called Floyd's back with the insurance carrier again and spoke to a different person, that was supposedly the manager, he gave a completely different excuse. He stated that this medication is just so hard to come by because it is a regulated controlled substance, however, before I began getting medication from them, I used to get it from Walgreens and they didn't have any issues.
So I have lost all my confidence and trust in this pharmacy and will not do business with them again, which again saddens me.
