Made a order for pickup. I checked into the app on my way to the store. Once I arrived, I check in with the place #. A store rep completed my order in the system, meaning lied about bringing my order out on time. 20 mins later still not received my order. I called the store and the representative was animated and unprofessional. I cancelled my order and requested a refund. Will not be shopping at this Walmart.

Yall should really stop saying your open 24hrs online it's not like it's just around the corner to get there and find out that your not, you won't even say the times that you open and close, and getting someone to answer a phone there is near imposable. The Hammond store has their !* together i shouldn't have to call them to find out if your store is open or closed they even answer their phone. and why yall dont stock your shelves anymore is that hard to order enough to keep something on the shelf has management forgotten how to order enough goods to keep the shelves stocked, and don't ask anyone in the store for help they don't know jack and aint to happy you asked a question but everyone there is quick to tell you to get out the store when its time to close if you didn't hear the intercom tough leave you basket come back tomorrow. whoever was running this store back in 2016 an 17 needs to come back or retire.

My review is regarding the eye center. I went to get my glasses adjusted after only having them TWO days. I was polite as could be through everything after being in the hospital for hours prior to going there. I complied and blindly (literally because she had my glasses in her hands) signed a release because she was new. HORRIBLE mistake! The woman took my glasses to the back room, came back within a few minutes, and the lenses were scratched. I didn't even get an I'm sorry or anything. Like are you kidding me?? You just ruined my glasses.... The fact they do not want to take responsibility, just means they put employees who do not know what they are doing in the wrong positions. Please don't let new employees touch customers glasses. Not only do I not have my glasses now because they were scratched so badly that I need a NEW LENSE, but I have lost interest of ever going back since I was taken advantage of while sick into signing away their responsibilities when THEY screwed up my brand new glasses. Absolutely horrible!

The service is terrible. This is the second time I have been overcharged. This time $5.00 too much. The associate acted as if she could care less. The hand held machine was broke so she had to get my pin number and take my card inside to charge it. I tried calling to let them know what number I was in and no one answer the phone. I had to stop one of the worker to tell them I was out there. It took exactly 30 minutes to get service. They really know how to make customers never want to come back there again. This is my last order from Ponchatoula, La pick up. Hammond , La may make a mistake on your order but at least they are friendly and professional. So my family and I will be going to another Walmart pick up. Sad.Sad

Pickup is horrible. Between the rude associates, constantly canceling orders, no one picking up the phone. Don't use them unless you like your order canceled and money tied up in "pending" for a week. Every time you try to call the store no one answers.

I used their Grocery Pickup for the first time. I waited over 20 minutes in stall 3 before I got my order!!! Beware!!!!

Only giving it 3 stars because they have 40 registers and only utilize 3 of them. Lol other than that service and navigation are pretty good

My husband and I just visited Walmart store at the location in Ponchatoula, La. We shop this store daily, spend hundreds at this location, and had the worst experience today. The cashier on alcohol and beverage register, Deborah, is incompetent. She has sold my husband and I alcohol multiple times with no problems. Today after we spent about 30-45 minutes waiting patiently in line, while other customers ranted over how slow and incompetent she was, she refused my husbands legal state ID. This has never been an issue before anywhere, and she has taken this ID before. It is an up to date, legal Louisiana ID. Furthermore, she refused to sell me the alcohol, even though I was purchasing, paying with my bank card and have a legal Louisiana Drivers License. I am 34 and my husband is 39, and have used our regular identification cards at this store, and many other locations, before without any trouble. The manager, Kathy, who pulled the alcohol out of the cabinet for Deborah was confused as to why she turned down the purchase. I am livid with this company at this time and am not sure I want to shop with any Walmart. I definitely will not shop at this one again. Terrible experience and staff.

Major problems with consistency. Many items that you see today may be gone by next week, and then never seen again. Makes planning for groceries difficult.

Love this supercenter ! So big and so many options !! Came here with my grandma a few times while I was in town and had nothing but positive experience, I'll definitely be back.

Always enjoy coming to this Walmart. The service is always great and the associates are very helpful. The store is clean and products is always in the right spot.
