Always the best! Been going to this vet for well over 20 years. Quality care, nice and thorough. Can't say enough good things about this place. They've always taken wonderful care of all of our animals over the years.

I would recommend having any invasive procedures done here. My bassett hound went in to get spaded, and she almost died from infection. Had it not been for the met vet in Mandeville, my best friend would be dead. Also, they told me there was nothing they could do for her and take her home and spend the remaining time I had left with her. Luckily, for my dogs sake, I don't roll over that easy.

We have been using this VET practice since we got our golden doodle in 2018. We have seen several of the vets over the years, we mainly see Dr Lily. This vet practice is very different from others in that they show concern for the cost associated with keeping our pets healthy and I very much appreciate them for this. They don't attempt to shame us when we ask about prices, etc. we have a dog who has chronic illness so we see them very regularly.

Dr. Seff was very patient with me explaining the drug protocol for Majia my pet Akita. Majia is afraid of getting her nails trimmed so we had to sedate her but make sure I could get her in and out if my car. She is a large girl! It was expensive. The rabies shot is $18 and change. I had her blood tested and she was treated for other issues. Meds were prescribed and difficult to administer. I had to open capsules and crush tablets. I wish there was a liquid for them instead. Putting them in food didn't go well. It was just shy of $300 for visit, meds, and office procedures. I had a free coupon for nails! I would go back and will be doing so for a possible surgery for Majia. She is 10 and a half years old. Praying for good health.

If I could rate this place 0 stars, I would. I recently brought my dog in here for his "annual" pet visit and his annual shots. During his annual, they told me I needed to get his teeth cleaned and then quoted me. Well, it was a little bit pricey so I just asked my cousin who works at a vet if her vet could do it since I knew it was a little less. I brought him in this morning to have him checked before they did the procedure next week. He has a 3/6 murmur in his heart and the vet told me there's no possible way they could have put my dog under anesthesia without having his heart xrayed or they would have complications during the procedure. Ponchatoula animal hospital completely missed it and was going to put him under on May 2nd. They are constantly rushing people in and out the door and obviously don't care about their animals or they would have never missed that. Please do not bring your babies here

Open the lobby for customers to go in with their pets. Have everyone mask up, take temperatures if you want. I don’t see covid going anywhere. Customers stand outside and pay in the rain. Employees and customers get soaked when they are getting your pet and information.

This place has been the best! Great prices and friendly staff. I drive from Covington to go here after not feeling like I was getting good enough service at the vets near me. I can’t stress enough how amazing we are treated there

I can’t say enough about this place!! We bring our dog there and they are amazing and affordable.. today we brought our new kitten because she was lifeless and they immediately rushed her to the doctor and helped save her life! We will never go to another place for our three sweet babies!

I have used this vet for about 10 years and have always loved it. However recently when trying to get my dog in for his regular allergy shot I have been given a weeks wait as the soonest available appointment, even after expressing how important it is that he gets it. He will literally lick the pads off of his feet if he does not have it in a timely fashion. I called on Wednesday of last week. It is now Monday and you can see from the photo, we are now dealing with a wound and possibly infection on top of allergies. And what made it so bad was not even the wait, but the attitude of the girl on the other end of the line. I have never had this problem before with this Vet. I don't know who this new person is, but they really need to consider her ability to deal with customers. She has just caused them to lose a very loyal customer!

Wonderful clinic, very polite employees and Doctors. During these stressful times they have maintained a wonderful attitude and are super sweet with the pets. Our animals love going in and getting tons of belly rubs! Prices are great and service is second to none. Thank you for being there for us Ponchatoula Animal Hospital!

Owner was made aware of racist remarks made my an employee and NOTHING was done about it. In a time where speaking up about these things is important, I am disappointed to see that this business does not care about the common human interest. If they don't take action to prevent this now, how could anyone trust them to take care of their own pet if they don't even care about the pet owner's?

This organization has a blatantly racist employee and is defending her rather than terminating her. I would never support this organization, and neither should you!!

Owner was made aware of an employees blatantly racist comments. The owner then not only DID NOT fire said employee, but defended her. Will never be able to trust my pets here.
