We love Bayou Road Ace Hardware! We live on the west side of the Mississippi River across from Baton Rouge, and anybody who lives in this area knows that nobody wants to slog across the river if they don't absolutely have to. We don't have any big box stores like Lowes or Home Depot. Bayou Road Ace Hardware is just one of the local stores that let us shop on the Westside and skip the traffic. It's the first place we go for hardware needs. I like that they've also got a great selection of MCWare cookware and a lot of different spices and seasoning for our cooking and grilling needs. The store is clean, well-stocked, and easy to get to, and I can always find someone to help me with whatever I need. Shop local, y'all!

The only reason I go here is for the convenience. Prices are through the roof. If I have to spend more than $20 I'll gladly fight Baton Rouge traffic

People are nice and service was good. The prices are just high and our lumber was warped and full of knots. We didn't notice till we got home and didn't have time to return it.
