I just transferred vet clinics and I have never been happier! I despised my last vet. They were absolutely horrid! Towards me and my babies! That is a story for another day! I’ve never been treated so kindly. They treat my dogs so good! You can see so clearly how much they love the fur babies. The office never smells and is always clean. I’ve never felt like I’ve had that support and care I’ve needed for my babies until now. I am so thankful to everyone here and love my babies new vet! You couldn’t pay me to go anywhere else!

Years later and I am still furious with the lack of professionalism exhibited by this place! Brought adopted kitten in due to URI. They kept her for 2 weeks and so roughly intubated her she cannot meow. Then took 3 cats in for wellness chk and the tech cut the top of the same cats ear off! They proceeded to put in a couple stitches and CHARGED me for it and no discounts given for their pitifully poor service. Run fast and far from these idiots!

I’ve had nothing but the best experience. I had two guniea pigs brought to see Mrs Elster. They had ring worm and with the meds given they were clear within a week. My next experience was with an eye infection with my hamster. Mrs Elster enlightened me that she was just poked in the eye by something, like bedding. She gave me meds and once again, within a week she was all better. I also brought my corn snake here because I thought he had a respiratory infection, Mrs Elster checked him out; Turns out he was just vocal !! Not to mention they have some of the best prices. I brought in a NR squirrel to get his tail docked and they were very understanding and the surgery went well. And CHEAP. only $100. I love their services and will always recommend Kees Animal Clinic !

Maybe change your hours of operation online. I had no idea you are no longer open on Saturdays. I did double check online before I loaded up my 150 pound dog to bring in for his shots. If you sent a letter informing customers of the change I missed it. So to anybody seeing this review-- THEY ARE NO LONGER OPEN ON SATURDAY. I'm gonna give 3 stars because I've never had any issues with the clinic when it is open.

The employees at the front desk are rude and not professional at all , actually the employee Katie at front desk didn't even acknowledge when I walked in (not just myself but everyone) & then you go up to the front counter and she doesn't even say anything to you , so you're standing there looking crazy until she finally decides to speak to someone. The first time I ever walked inside this place I got bad vibes , they seem to really not care about the animals just looking for a check . The back staff don't tell you anything unless you ask , I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS VET!!! WILL BE TAKING MY FUR BABIES ELSEWHERE !!!

This is beyond the WORST animal clinic ever. Do not bring your pet. The receptionist do not greet you when you walk in. You’ll be standing there looking crazy waiting to see what you need to do to check in. It a chaotic mess. They don’t know what they’re doing. Brought my new pup in for her 2nd round of vaccines, and they didn’t bother to look at the paperwork given.. and they gave her first round of vaccines instead. I am NOT impressed.

Had to put our sweet boy to sleep recently. The staff was amazing. Everyone of them took the time to make me comfortable. To make my dog comfortable - to step outside the box and figure out how we could have the most caring, trusting process possible - from tissues ready before I knew I needed them - to helping me say goodbye - I felt like we were the only clients/patients there - on a very busy morning. They have been my vet for years. The doctors and whole staff are the best! They are very knowledgeable and compassionate through both happy times and sad times. Could not ask for better care for my babies.

Let me start by saying that I have used this veterinarian office for 20+ years (both locations)without the first problem until last year. My wife and my self brought out Yorkshire terrier (macie) into the office to have emergency surgery due to her eating a piece of plastic and it being stuck in her digestive system. Due to it being unexpected and expensive Dr. Bennitt broke the payments up for us. I made the first and second payment with no problem and for the third I asked the front office worker what the balance remaining was , she stated 400.00 dollars. I then paid it. Several months later My wife had to take our daughter's cat in to be treated for an unknown illness and sadly had to be put to sleep, payment was made before leaving. A couple of months later we adopted another cat for our daughter and brought him in to be declawed again payment was made. Approximately 6 months later I receved a call from a collection company advising me that I owe Kees Park Animal Clinic over 200 dollars for a payment that was never made, I advised the collection company that there had to be a mistake and I would contact the Animal Clinic. I called the animal clinic approximately 3 months ago and asked about the issue at hand . They stated that they didnt know but would call me back, but never did. I called them again several weeks later and was advised to talk to their book keeper , I did and she advised me that she didnt know how I owed them any money but i needed to speak with Dr. Bennitt . I tried for several more weeks to contact her. No response. Then last week I called again ad was advised that i didnt owe a balance at all. I asked the employee that i was speaking to , to verify and inform me as soon as possible. Several days later with no response I contacted the Office again and was advised to speak with a lady name Pam at the alexandria office . I tried to contact her but she wasn't there , however she returned my phone call this morning. Pam stated that the 200 plus dollars stemmed from a 90 dollar balance the was left over from my final payment of Macy's surgery. I advised her that was never disclosed to me , that I asked how much was owed when I submitted payment and that's why I paid 400 dollars because that's what was stated. I also advised Pam that we have been to their office several times since then and nothing has been said about a balance and payment for those visits were made when service was rendered. Pam stated that she was sorry, I went on to explain that I haven't receved any phone calls, letters or any correspondence of any kind about this matter. I advised if I would have been advised that I paid exactly what the front office worker requested that I pay. Pam became rude and began trying to speak over me with a condescending tone and stated that is just what it is and now since it's in collections there's nothing that can be done . Now I have to pay over 200 dollars for a charge of 90 dollars that was never disclosed to me. This matter was handled very unprofessionally and I'm left with the consequences of the situation. I want to add that Dr. Fitzgerald is a great person and he is the reason why I began and continued using the animal clinic for so many years but since he retired the level of employees has gone down hill. Before he retired you would have never experienced this level of unprofessionalism with any of his employees. I will not , nor will my family ever give this place any of my buisness again. Sorry for the long post but I hope it helps in trying to locate a good veterinarian office in pineville or alexandria because this is sadly not the case this office any longer.
