CVS on Edgewood. Tried to fill a script here that I had been on for years. I was told it would be ready in 45 min, not a problem. Drove Alexandria to do an errand. This time the actual pharmacist came to the window and said she refused to fill this script cause i used another CVS. I told her that I had a coupon for this one and didn't have the gas to drive to the other one. She could have just explained to me why she couldn't fill it but instead She said "not my problem" and slammed down the phone speaker thing. She was incredibly rude and me being someone with mental health issues including crippling anxiety she threw me into a severe panic attack. I seen her and her coworker giggling in the back. I WILL NEVER BE GOING BACK. And I will be filling a formal complaint. I hope your day gets better ma'am and God bless.

The pharmacist manager was very rude and very unprofessional today. I sat my phone on the counter, and as I was waiting for someone to come to the counter I was looking at an item on the end cap of one of the isles and she stood up and asked me why I was tapping the counter, I said I wasn’t tapping the counter then she proceeded to call me a liar along with another employee that was cutting up, laughing with her and sitting down on a stool…. And the pharmacist said “ we don’t respond to no tapping”. Not sure what crawled up her butt, but I had not one, not two, not three or even four, but five different customers come up to me after and say that she was the most unprofessional pharmacist they had ever saw or heard and couldn’t believe that she acted in such a manner. I was embarrassed and humiliated at the way she treated me.
I called and filed a formal complaint about her poor customer service and will be filing a complaint to the pharmacy board.
Not sure what will be done but next time I go in there… I’ll be sure to wear my tap shoes ? and I’ll be tapping my way to the pharmacy, then she can accuse me of tapping!
Never been bullied by a pharmacist ?⚕️ she must have not got to finish that ? from lunch. If you hate your job that much …. Go to the house!?

This WAS a great pharmacy to go to, compared to some other name brand stores. Pharmacy here has declined in lack of customer support, lack of employees and codes of ethics have been reduced. Wait time has increased, drive through on Edgewood been closed down, now if your sick or well, come in to get Rx. This keeps up, I will transfer my Rx to a l local pharmacy.

They are so dadgum slow, can never come here & get prescriptions in any kind of timely manner & the inside is no better. It’s a shame your health insurer requires you to use them

My insurance insists I use CVS, had problems from the get go, just got out of surgery, took prescription in and they wouldn't fill it because the date was on the label and not hand written. Took prescription back to physician he wrote the date on prescription, took it back to CVS and they wouldn't take it because it was written with a different pen "same color ink but different pen", went back to physician for a whole new prescription, took it back to CVS and waited an hour for it. Needless to say 3 hours after surgery and now on my way home to rest.

The ladies are always kind to me and most of the time we end up laughing for a couple of minutes. I love the girls that work here, they try their hardest. However, CVS pharmacies are always severely understaffed, putting immense amounts of pressure and stress onto these wonderful souls. I don't have a problem with this specific pharmacy (it's actually the first one I've been to where I've had absolutely zero issues) but I DO have a problem with the way CVS has set it up. I just wish they could employ more workers. There are always long lines to wait in, no seating for the elderly, chaos for the workers, etc. Makes me sad because I can see how tired these beautiful ladies are. They do, however, do their best, and I commend them for that!

Nothing like being verbally accosted by a cvs pharmacy tech! Rude employee was mad because customers were asking questions she couldn't answer. Customers were advised that if we didn't like the service we were welcome to go to another pharmacy, to which several took her up on the offer. Many customers at the drive thru were told that "the computer ain't workin', y'all need to come inside", as I looked at the computer, that was on and functioning. When I finally got to the register (long line), after giving name and birth date info, several times, my prescriptions that had been ready for several days, couldn't be found. Another pharmacy tech finally found them in the wrong bin. Wish I could give a lower review. Long story short, we're looking for a new, better pharmacy.

September 16th I went there because I had to go to urgent care. I was trying to find out how I could get the prescription. Because Walgreens was closed. I asked her can you please check the Messages and let me know if you are able to fill it. The lady became very rude. She said she's the pharmacy manager. . That they open late because she has something to do. She tried to talk to me like a child. And she was just horribly arrogant and rude. So when she snapped at me I snapped at her back and I left. She is just horrible, horrible person.. I will never, ever, ever, ever, ever. Ever get my prescriptions filled there! I rather drive to Alexandria.

This pharmacy needs to be audited. They have miscounted several of my medications on multiple occasions. When I catch it they do fix it, but this is still a big deal, and not a patients responsibility. Older and sick people may not be checking. They also will say it's a prescriber issue, or insurance issue and I have waited weeks for my meds and the presciber/insurance have said everything is in order. They gave me the incorrect rx before and I had to come back to turn it in. They either need help, or need to just be shut down. They're making mistakes and playing with people's well being/lives.

The pharmacy techs are intentionally obstructive to patients requiring their medications. This isn't the first time that we as a family have had this experience but I will never forget it and I'll never use CVS again because of how I was treated there, on edgewood drive in Pineville Louisiana. They really ruined my day and treated all of us like we were at the DMV. I hope people read this and use a different pharmacy.
