“I wanted to share that I found Goli super green gummy vitamins at my local Dollar Tree. I'm not sure if they're available at all locations, but this particular one had them. “This store saved my business!I had horrible experiences with most of the stores in my local area. Either they closed early (Chalmette store), didn't answer the phone, (which caused me to make SEVERAL trips to all of those stores), wasn't knowledgeable of the product I was looking for or refused to offer assistance. I contacted this store at 8:25 p.m. Ms. Rhonda answered the phone and went over and beyond to help assist me. She gave me directions to the store, checked for the product I was searching for, and ensured me that it was available at her store. I drove 28 miles which took me 35 minutes to arrive. She had my items at the counter ready for me to purchase. I will make this drive from now on!! “One employee was loud and complaining about her cell, or lack there of, for a few days....? I was in the very back of the store and she was behind the register. Un-professional.”
“I came in today (12/31/23) at around 3:30pm to return some headphones. For some reason the register didn't like that and it had to be shut down. The delay made one certain customer act out rather rudely... I just want to say that the guy working the register was absolutely amazing and he handled the situation and the rude customer very professionally. I didn't catch his name but that man deserves a raise!!! I appreciate him very much and he definitely reacted better than I would have! Thank you so much and I'm sorry I was the cause of a lot of frustration.”

“Oh the great things I have found in Dirt Cheap! I always and most frequently visit this location but I love exploring what new things are available in other locations as well! Especially Hattiesburg.Just to mention a few things from the one in Slidell: great Dr. Scholl’s boots for only $8! An old navy black and white polka dots dress for $1! Clark’s high fashion sneakers for $4! And my wonderful nutcracker for my collection for only $5 ?Not always will you find these deals but you never know when you may run into one so gotta visit when they bring merchandise and I love how I get my email alerts letting me know new things are in the store.”
“Its a basic dollar general. Nothing out of the ordinary. The cashiers are always nice and personable. Haven't had any issues at this location with the exception of having to look for the cashier every now and then, but that's the usual at most dollar generals b/c the cashiers also stock. They usually show up pretty quickly when they see a customer and I'm almost always greeted as I enter the store.”

“First of all, I don't waste time writing reviews unless I feel it is really worthy, outstanding, and jaw dropping old school friendliness. I was at Dollar General on Old Spanish Trail on April 11th, 2023..it was just about closing time.For anyone reading this...wow yall...I haven't seen people with positive management skills happy to serve their customers...in a VERY LONG TIME.the team of employees looked content and happy to be there. Rare. People nowadays usually look miserable no matter where you go...So I'm disabled...I'm epileptic...I'm not allowed to drive...it's by some odd luck I even got a ride up there to get a few things..I also splurged on some candles. By the time I got home, I realized I had left my candles there. Since it was hard to find a way up there, I called the store and asked if they could just put the candles back on my debit card (thinking it might be saved in system)...I found out I would still have to be up there with the card.Devon, the day shift Manager, offered up to bring them to my address after his shift. Yet another jaw dropping moment from this store! Not only that but the friendly smile, friendliness, and willingness to go that serious extra mile for me?? Just .. wow's me..it warms my heart.Thank you Dollar General on Old Spanish Trail”

“Update on Friday my wife was in the store with her sister shoping. For some reason she fell on the floor and bang her head. The assistant was brilliant and help her and called the ambulance for her.I was also called and cannot call the store for anything as nothing was around or near to cause her to fall. Thank you for everything you did. Needs more than one staff member on register Had to wait in line for nearly 15 mins and cashier was not very pleasant.”
