I needed to renew an investment and walked in without an appointment. The young man that assisted me had me in and out in under five minutes with an absolute minimum of hassle. Even though I did not have the letter I had been sent with me, he was able to use my driver’s license to retrieve the information. Very pleased.

I love the old-school stylings of this location, the marble, the columns, to me it just FEELS like a bank should. They have an ATM, they also offer foreign currency exchange, although I haven't used that feature, I notice the sign every time I come in. My employer uses this branch as our choice for banking. I have been coming in about once a week for the better part of the last year and I am happy to report the easy of use at this location is the best I have experienced in quite some time. The staff is very nice and helpful. There is rarely a line.

AFTER 31 YEARS I MOVED MY RELATIONSHIP TO IBERIA And it was not this branch's fault. I love the old Whitney Morgan branch but slashes to the retail system by Hancock have led to long lines for banking reps. I followed Miss Jane here. She opened my account at the old Petroleum branch in 1988. My safe deposit box weathered Katrina here. Mark the teller is one of the most personable men in the field - a rock. Bat at Hancock you must go into a lobby to change your home address. My ATM card was cancelled because I had not had time to wait in queue to do so. On Thursday April 18th, 2019 I went to the Gentilly branch and walked out after 15 minutes having never been greeted. At 11AM I left the Tchoupitoulas branch after waiting almost 20 minutes behind an old befuddled woman who was insisting that the rep balance her check book. At noon I was told by a teller at the St Charles branch that I'd have better luck after 3 PM. Four branches were too busy to change my address - a 1 minute transaction. So I moved to Iberia.

Although I am not initially happy about the merger with Whitney Bank & Hancock Bank, I do remain optimistic that it's going to be better for "me". The Morgan Street Branch, as it's affectionately known, is only 4 blocks from my work in the French Quarter; therefore, it's the most convenient branch for me 90 % of the time. I'm happy to report that even following the merger, it seems like this particular branch was not affected by an influx of new tellers. I love seeing the same faces time after time, as I am a creature of habit and love a little familiarity. The tellers are always courteous and even if the lines are long, they move quickly as it seems that everyone has their "you know what" together. The bank, like most businesses in the French Quarter, is located in a building that is older than all of it's customers. It is an architectural design that is unlike any other banks seen outside of New Orleans. Check out the vaulted (arched) ceiling and you'll see what I'm I'm talking about. However, don't try and snap any photos as it's "against their policy".

Excellent full service bank offering foreign exchange with a bit of notice (meaning dollars to a foreign currency), loans, regular banking services. All of the staff is super friendly! Definitely a great bank

I have banked with this branch for over 5 years, the employees go out of their way to provide great customer service and the bank manager has always been on top of any issues, I would only give my business to this bank.
