Have banked with Whitney for a very long time. This branch is close to work and convenient. Everyone has always been very professional.

I have 3 accounts at this bank. I went to the drive thru on Tchoup to cash two checks ( one was my personal check ). Presented ID and told her what denominations I wanted. She fiddled with the computer and had to go ask someone something. Then she looked at the checks. She said it was over her limit. I said it's less than $1,000 which is daily limit. No, it was over HER allowable limit. She calls over the 20 something year old manager. He said it was over her limit. What's HER limit so I know in the future? " none of your business. Get an ATM card if you don't like. Pathetic and pitiful. No wonder I'm considering another bank. Took 15 minutes for her to complete transaction

I do not recommend this branch what so ever. My husband went to go in side to cash his check and deposit. We bank here. They proceeded to tell him he has to leave and go through drive thru, due to him wearing a tank. Need I say, the tank was a good three inches wide, how many women walk in with titties hanging out their tanks? Hell, I've done it! This was bs! He then gets in the truck to go thru drive thru, like they said, and here comes the security guard telling him he's gonna check into it. He's the one that escorted him, so on something he may not even have a foot to stand on. SMH!

I don't really like this bank. I feel like they think you should be lucky to have an account there. I mostly use drive thru. I think bank officers are snobby.

WARNING: Twice my mortgage payments made at this location were applied to someone else's loan and I was harassed by Hancock Whitney’s collection department because of mistakes made at this branch and their out of state loan processor. This is no longer a local bank you can depend on.

One of their employees in a VW SUV almost ran me and my wife off the road this morning. Not a great way to represent your company. You might not want to wear a company shirt when you have road rage either, not a good look.

I used to love Hancock Whitney, but two mortgage payments made at this branch were illegally redirected to someone else's loan. Each time this error occurred it took a multiple phone calls and branch visits over a week to get Hancock Banking and Residential Loan departments to correct their own errors. While this 'Bank' was correcting their errors I was also subjected to RUDE calls from Hancock Whitney's collection department in Illinois! After my payments were located Hancock Whitney also refused to provide a written explanation concerning their mortgage violations until I filed a BBB complaint. Sadly this bank has taken on many negative aspects of larger banks with many functions of the bank contracted out to out of state firms in Illinois! Hancock Whitney is no longer your neighborhood bank and should be renamed the Heartless Bank of Illinois!

AFTER 31 YEARS I MOVED MY RELATIONSHIP TO IBERIA Under Hancock the old Whitney branches have become shoddy and low rent. They have slashed branch personnel and long lines now form in the lobbies. My ATM card was cancelled because I had moved and not come into a branch and personally changed it. On Thursday April 18th, 2019 after walking out from long waits at both the Gentilly and Morgan branches, I gave this branch a try. The sole rep was occupied with an old befuddled woman who had essentially emptied her purse out and asked the rep,to balance her checking account. I asked the guard how long this was going to take and she indicated that she had already been there 20 minutes. A rather officious gentleman walked out of his corner office several times and never offered to help me. Within three hours I had ended the 31 year relationship and moved to Iberia.

This is really difficult: I want to love Whitney. When Whitney is good, they're unbeatable. When they suck, it's almost bewildering how they can be that bad. I'm a loyal Whitney customer, partly because I've banked at other places and I like the rates. Most of the tellers are experienced and helpful. And I generally just prefer neighborhood places. But then, Whitney, unlike the rest of the warm-blooded universe, can't make an RF chip work with a credit card. Dude. And then there's the Whitney-Hancock online experience, which is frankly bizarre. Online, you can't search your payments by payee. I can't find my automatic billing payees in there at all. It's almost like auto-pay people are put in a special closet. You've got very limited abilities to search your own account. Their new smart-phone app is an extension of the online experience. I haven't had too many problems with it, and it's been convenient for most things. There are limits to the amount it will let you deposit electronically of course.

This is a branch of the regional bank right on Tchoupitoulas. I've only ever used their drive through banking and ATM. Product: N/A Service: Quick, efficient, and friendly. No complaints here. 4 stars Facilities: It makes me wonder why banks today have such large footprints, but the property is aesthetically pleasing. The lawn is alway well-tempt, and the concrete clean. 5 stars Overall: If you need to use Whitney/Hancock bank, and you're uptown, this is the spot for you. There's rarely a line, and it moves fast. 4 stars
