Although the folks at the local office are super friendly and helpful, to get any real support on the account I had to call the national number. I've been trying to open my brokerage account for a month, the incompetency is incredible. I've called every business day for the past week, and each time the call has ended with my being told that the account will be ready to go in a few hours and by the next day at the latest, and each time my account does not get opened. I've been on the phone now for over an hour, and this person incorrectly told me that I had filled out a completely different form wrong--during the phone call she realized her mistake. It should not take a month to open an account.
