I appreciate that they put so much effort into customer service. The shoes are expensive, but the staff will help you pick out EXACTLY what you need. Linda was so thorough and helpful! It was the most comfortable shoe-buying experience I've ever had, and I love the shoes I got.

I have bought shoes from Varsity for several years, but recently bought 2 pairs of shoes about 2 months ago. Unfortunately, a pair of Brooks shoes I bought developed a hole at the tip. Bud was really great about it, and is replacing the shoes. This at the relatively new uptown location. It is acts like this, plus awesome service, that distinguish them from the competition. They are amazing when it comes to working with you to find the perfect shoes and running/walking accessories. Extremely professional and patient even with my three kids going in three different purchasing directions, they were able to help us find what we needed. Can't recommend them highly enough.

OMG! I am a salesperson's nightmare. I can see through BS. But that's why I appreciate "Linda" at this store. The epitome of knowledge, helpfulness, enthusiasm (for my feet!!), And professionalism. She wouldn't let me settle on anything that didn't look and feel perfect. Brava!

Currently they have a moving sale where everything is 50% off. Everyone loves a sale, especially during the holidays! These selection of shoes is amazing even during the sale!

An employee advised me to buy a massage roller that was rather expensive. Originally I was hesitant but she was adamant that it was worth every penny. BOY, was she right!!!! I can’t thank this woman enough for selling me this product. This also applies to the store; Varsity Sports rocks!!!!! They know their stuff & are awesome. Will definitely be returning when my sneakers are ran through!

I’m in New Orleans on a short vacation and brought all the wrong shoes- so I stopped in for a new pair of practical, comfortable shoes. I was pleasantly surprised and enjoyed my experience! As a plus size person, sometimes it’s not fun shopping at a running store. But not here- they were kind, very helpful, and judgment free. I ended up with a pair of shoes that actually fit my feet (for the first time in years!) and feeling great about the experience. Good prices, as a bonus.
