On August 28 2023 I went to the Mid City Finance Station, at Moss St New Orleans LA, to present my photo ID and my current lease to be able to get the key to the cluster mail box in front of my house. I spoke with Ms. Starr, of the Central Carrier Station 1300 Florida Ave New Orleans LA, and on August 30 2023, I went to the Central Carrier Station to fill out an authorization to hold mail form -- Ms. Starr told me that it could take 3 - 4 weeks before the locksmith can change the lock and I would have to get the key from the Central Carrier Station. On October 5 2023, I went to the Central Carrier Station to pick up the 15 packages of school supplies that I ordered for my students. I ordered the supplies from eBay and eBay confirmed the delivery. The worker went inside the station and brought out three pieces of mail for me. I told her that I should have 15 packages of mail and that I filled out an authorization form to hold mail on August 30th and that I have a photo of the form that I filled out and gave to the worker. On October 10, 2023, at 7:00 p.m. my doorbell was rung. I am elderly, disabled, and I am on oxygen therapy. I had to remove my nose cannula, get my walker and go to the front of the house to answer the doorbell. When I opened the door, my neighbor was standing there, she said " The mail lady just rang your doorbell and left. I tried to tell her that you have a walker and it might take you a few minutes to get to the front door. She said, "'I got to be back at the station by 7:45"' and she left." I called the Customer Service number and reported the incident to an agent. I received a service request number -- 55887696, and was told that the issue would be resolved. On October 12th I called the Central Carrier Station and spoke with Ms. Starr. Ms. Starr assured me that she will bring me the key to the cluster mail box that is only three feet away from the steps of my home. I am still waiting for the 15 packages from eBay that the carrier decided to put in the cluster mail box even though I filled out an authorization to hold mail form on August 30th that I have a photo of to present if necessary. I want my packages and mail and I want the key to the cluster mail box so I do not have to deal with USPS

Frequent failure to deliver mail whenever we have a substitute driver.Yesterday the truck drove right pass our house with mailbox (on the curb of our street- so no problem. Duh.USPS TRACKING INFO and INFORMED DELIVERY CONFIRM package containing an AFIB heart monitor (small enough to fit in mailbox) and a random magazine were in the truck to be delivered yesterday.Later that evening I get a notification that the package could not be delivered because there is no access. That’s USPS code for “I don’t know what I’m doing).”Today I attempted to contact Florida Ave post office. But for reasons that have not been posted in public media that office is temporarily closed. This is not the first time the Sub station has make these errors.Note: our regular delivery person is incredibly good at delivering our mail. Nothing like this ever occurs when she is delivering.

If I could give this place zero stars I would. I always have issues with the carriers scanning my packages as delivered but they don’t. Beware they steal packages. And if you make a claim or a service request, Starlette Smith will tell you there’s nothing they can do. The status of my case stated that it was resolved as this woman never contacted me. Of course these are typical New Orleans workers. So incompetent!!!! Good luck receiving your packages if they don’t steal them.

The packages are usually late and frequently damaged. Claims of "no access to complex", "left in mailbox" or "sorry we're having trouble with your delivery, will be late" are always the excuse. Instructions are to leave at apartment front door, but leaves with security or even sitting in apartment complex lobby. Delivery instructions are NEVER followed. Should be 0/5.

First class packages and regular mail are hardly ever delivered on time to my apartment building in Mid City. Usually, the packages are marked with the issue “no access to building” and delivered 1-2 days late, on the lobby floor, not in the mailbox. As for regular mail, it’s usually delayed, showing in the informed delivery emails and delivered 1-3 days later. I once left stamped mail put to be picked up and it wasn’t for 3 days. Ended up bringing it to the office myself.USPS usually does a great job; something is wrong with this office.

This morning I called the 800 number listed. The auto service texted me a link to place my complaint. Within 15 minutes I received a call to address my issue.

They deliver to Lumina mid-city apartments and never put your packages in your designated mailbox, they leave it out for someone to steal and I wouldn’t be surprised if they were the ones stealing it. Left my important, expensive medication out and mark it as delivered and it was stolen. No sympathy or solution, told me “I don’t know who delivered yesterday”.

This is not a USPS services center, it is a USPS vehicle maintenance center. You cannot pick up mail or ship anything here. Please do not come here to buy stamps or get your passport photo taken- it will be a fail.5 stars because all of the employees were super nice when letting me know I was in the wrong place.

Could not figure out how to get inside, all the signs said authorized vehicles only and it looks like it is only for vehicle maintenance , though other reviews suggest otherwise

Julian was so helpful - we drove up to get our package that was not able to be delivered (bc of construction work in our area). He asked for our address, remembered it, searched for our mail, and found it for us! He even went in a second time to look. Very thankful for his help!

They closed our PO BOX with no billing, no warning, and no notice. Someone retired and the new person explained how they don’t do billing or notices or other “courtesies” like that.

USPS marked my package as delivered, but I never got it (all the other packages delivered that day to my address were marked as delivered at 3:32 pm and the missing one at 4:03 pm, weird, USPS never deliver twice a day to the same address, less with 30 minutes of difference). I went to this USPS distribution center in LA 70119 to see what happened with my package, they said they did not know who delivered that day. I needed to insist almost crying to talk to the supervisor, she checked the tracking info and said it was delivered to the wrong address, that is all. No apologize, no solution, she said the only thing they could do for me is inform to the seller that it was delivered to the wrong address, ONLY if the seller call them. But since they marked it as delivered, I can not open a case and get a refund. I lost my money and the item. This people in USPS make mistakes and act with impunity. I have reported this incident on USPS online, but nothing so far. It is horrible, they can do whatever they want with your mail, deliver it to the wrong address, maybe a worker could steal it and nobody assume the responsability for the lost. How is this possible? Worst experience ever, and I was with my three years old child, they were not kind at all, they did not care, very rude people.

Trash service!! Don't deliver mail for days and weeks at a time and when mail delivered it's delivered to the wrong address!!!
