Finally stopped by after driving by so many times and seeing the sign and I am glad I did. Evidently, they are closing their doors soon to focus on a book-mobile type situation, which would be way cool. Anyways, the person working was friendly and very helpful. I love this little bookstore. Each time I pop in I find something (or 2 or 3 somethings) so special and different. It's a carefully curated collection of books featuring characters and authors who don't usually get the spotlight. And they have an amazing selection of board games you can rent!
Tubby & Coo’s is a local, queer-owned, traveling independent book shop in New Orleans focused on science fiction, fantasy, horror, romance, queer, and diverse books. The shop is named after the owner’s grandparents, Tubby & Coo, who grew up in Mid-City New Orleans.
