Looking for a nice weekend stay but didn't want all the noise of Bourbon area. This really fit the bill. The only downside is they close at midnight and our flight was delayed. So we barely made it in before hitting a big dilemma. The girl at the counter didn't seem too excited to be waiting for us.All that changed when we saw our 4th floor room. Very nice room and classic style but updated. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom very nice. Huge TV plenty of space. We loved the inside of the hotel. The best part is it's connected to the Ruby Slipper cafe next door and their food is amazing. Hotel guests can also reserve a table 30 mins earlier than when it opens to the public. One block off of Canal too!

While the room was gorgeous, the main reason anyone books a room is to get rest. No rest was to be had in this hotel. Every guest around me, to the sides, above, and below, we're loud and rowdy and easy to hear. The street below was filled with Slingshots bumping insanely loud music for hours. I appreciate the aesthetics of the place, it really is gorgeous. I was not impressed with the service From the gentleman at the counter for check in. Called earlier to ask about parking and he was unpleasant. Similar demeanor upon arrival. Water pressure and shower head leave something to be desired. The wifi is so slow it is useless.

There is charm to this old hotel. It is in a good location. The ceilings are very high. There are fewer issues than you would expect in an older hotel. The elevators are pretty fast. I'm not sure if this hotel would work well if you are in a wheel chair. You have to use your electronic key to enter the building which is pretty high up in my opinion and would be hard to reach, but it is nice to have that security. The staff is friendly. The room was clean. The toilet did wobble. The faucet looks good but of low quality. They do charge $6 per bottle of water if you drink it.

The location of this hotel is absolutely perfect! It's so close to the casino, the aquarium, the Waterfront and then just cross the street walk two blocks down and you're right on bourbon! But seriously though everything you could need for a stay in New Orleans is very very close to this hotel but yet far enough away that you can get some good sleep without being interrupted by The Nightlife! The only problems I would say we had in our 4-day stay was their website mentioned a cafe where you can eat and drink. It is not in the hotel it is at the red slipper which is right next to the hotel in the same building. They open at 7:00 get there quick they fill it fast! On the website it looks as if they have their own bar their own dining area and then a separate lounge space, it's all in the same room. But it is decorated exactly as the picture show it is very pretty! Old school Hollywood Vibes for sure! We got there late and I will say we weren't greeted with the friendliest of attitudes, almost as if we were a burden arriving at 11:00 p.m.. the website also mentioned we would be offered a welcome drink that didn't happen. The rooms were quite nice the height of the ceilings make the room feel a little bigger than it actually is but it's very quiet which is what we liked the most about it. After being on Bourbon Street all day you need a quiet place to escape to! The decor was very pretty the whole hotel tied into a theme quite nicely, funky art everywhere which was nice! It was a good hotel and I would definitely go back just based on the location, availability, and decor.

We love The Pelham! We stay every time we visit New Orleans. Clean rooms, great decor, convenient location, comfy beds, and the hospitality can't be beat - Keenya is always lovely to interact with and so helpful!

I'm pretty sure the room we stayed in was haunted. Nice hotel, but lacking a bit of the amenities the larger hotels/chains have.

What an excellent stay at this beautiful boutique hotel. The decor is a moody chic New Orleans style, and you can't beat the sky high ceilings in the guestroom. It's spotless, the service is fantastic, and the staff are incredibly accommodating. The location is in easy walking distance to both the riverfront and French Quarter. Would definitely stay here again!

Room was good. Had a stopped toilet once when we first got there. Parking is expensive. Was told one thing on parking and then told another later. They will put a tow notice on your car regardless of what the person at the front desk says.Safety: Front door is locked at all times. Always someone at the desk. Valet parking off the street.

The hotel is super clean, including room and bed linens. All the hotel staff ( check in staff, cleaning staff, etc...etc...) were very friendly.....southern hospitality at its best.We had an awesome time and already planning my next trip to New Orleans.Rooms: Rooms and bathrooms are beautiful, very clean and beds are super comfortable.Nearby activities: Bourbon street, Jackson Square, French quarters, outlet malls, Mississippi River all walking distance.Safety: Very safe...doors are locked and a key pass is required to enter the hotel. I felt very safe.Walkability: Walking distance to most areas. We did not use uber in the city.Food & drinks: Tons of amazing Restaurants around the hotel

Absolutely a disgrace in the smell of our room and ridiculous parking rates. Online parking price was $47, came in and it changed to $58 a night. Park across the street or stay at hotel closer to airport and Uber please. It smells like someone died in our room or some type of animal is dead in the walls. We complained and no change of rooms!

Really enjoyed our stay. Can't say enough about how accommodating the staff was. Let us store our luggage until the room was ready and then texted us when it was done. We got a smaller room, but it was very clean and nicely appointed. The bathroom was a bit tight, and it needed more lighting in the entry way after you got in the room but really no complaints. Was within walking distance to the French quarter and Jackson square. I would stay there again .

Very quiet hotel and very comfortable bed. Parking kinda sucks, nearest parking is $52 overnight so we just parked on a side street.

The Pelham really made our stay in New Orleans that much better! The employees were so friendly and accommodating. The location was perfect - close enough to Canal but far back enough to keep quiet during the night. The Ruby Slipper was steps away! The atmosphere was perfect for our trip and we’d absolutely stay again!

The best and cheapest hotel in New Orleans. Great hospitality clean rooms. Paid $100 a night. Located next to Harrahs casino and a 5 min walk to bourbon
