The Eliza Jane hotel in New Orleans is a hidden gem that exceeded all expectations! The ambiance is both atmospheric and stylish, with remarkable attention to detail in every corner. The ground floor offers various spaces for relaxation or productivity, including cozy seating areas and a well-equipped workspace for those needing to bring a laptop. An inviting outdoor terrace with ample seating further enhances the experience. Additionally, the hotel’s connection to a restaurant that opens early makes it convenient for guests. The Eliza Jane perfectly combines charm, comfort, and functionality—a standout choice in New Orleans!
Rooms: The rooms at The Eliza Jane are compact and lack windows, which, paired with dim lighting fixtures, can make the space feel a bit enclosed. However, the stylish decor and cleanliness are impeccable, giving each room a cozy, well-curated feel. While it may not be the best choice for those who prefer natural light, the hotel’s ambiance and thoughtful design make up for it, creating a unique and intimate atmosphere.

Booked for a few days before Christmas back in August. Some random time in September they decided to charge deposits without any warning. Reservation confirmation says nothing about being charged prior to stay. Charges were removed after I called but lost my trust as a future customer. Canceled both reservations and won't be booking here again.

The Eliza Jane is a lovely hotel, minutes away from the river, the french quarter and the WWII museum. The rooms are comfortable, if a little dark from the subdued lighting. I can’t though recommend the restaurant.
Food and drinks: It’s overpriced for what is basic food, we have eaten at Michelin starred restaurants for less than we paid last night.

Very nice hotel. Clean and very friendly hotel staff. Live music on weekends. Cozy lobby area. Location excellent. Only the suites do not have a window in the bedroom. This takes some getting used to.

Wow! We were very surprised by this hotel! Rooms were amazing! Comfortable bed, shower so relaxing. Air conditioning worked excellent and kept us comfortable. Coffee was tasty in the room. The room was quiet and so unique. The restaurant is top rated and sooo good. Completely packed, so make a reservation or wait until off times. Staff was so friendly even at 2am.

Charming place, close to everything, in walking distance. Only disappointment is one bartender who has the personality of a rock..
Walkability: Walking distance to restaurants, clubs, shopping, casino..

The rooms don't have windows, which was kind of weird and made it too easy to sleep in. Otherwise they were fine, quite clean which was nice. Location isn't bad, outside of tge french quarter and not a lot going on right where the hotel was. Lafayette square and the French quarter were easy walking distance though, and being out of the quarter meant less noise.

I stayed back in March 2024, and I discovered small items totaling about $500 were stolen from our room while we were out for the evening. Luckily cash and jewelry were stored in the safe. I just got word the claim for reimbursement from the hotel’s insurance was denied because the hotel determined it wasn’t at fault. The hotel took no other actions to make this right. It’s a safety risk for sure, and extremely disappointing from a Hyatt property. I also have seen another review since reporting the same theft issue, so they’ve got a problem.
Edit: I also contacted them multiple times after they responded to my review, but never heard back.

The Hotel and the rooms are wonderful. It‘s clean, modern and stylish. The Location is Perfect. The Hotel is located near the French quarter but not in it (which was good for us) and it is not too far to the Garden District
We didn‘t give 5 Stars in the end because the (good) room Service forgot to clean our room One Day and the Valet parking was a bit too expensive in our opinion. Otherwise wonderful stay

The hotel itself was nice, however my hotel room was dirty with stains on carpet. The elevator had been broken (for weeks apparently) which was a major inconvenience and the parking situation is horrendous (you have to valet, and they are short staffed which delays the process—up to 20 minutes of a wait). Front desk attendant was very rude to myself and my mother whom I invited on this trip as a treat. Needless to say, I was disappointed with my customer service experience.
Good proximity to cafes, restaurants, and a few shops as long as you don’t mind walking a bit!

A really beautiful hotel with amazing architectural design. I went with a friend to get a drink and I was really pleasantly surprised by how striking the bar area looked as well as the main reception area. I've been to the joining restaurant before couvant to have some lunch and I did find that to be really stunning as well but I had no idea that the hotel right next to it was so nice but West pleasantly surprised. I admittedly haven't stayed in a room but my friend who went there before said that she loved the room and the aesthetics of the hotel generally matter to me more than the room since I just sleep there but I do love a good room too.
